Tatum’s passing is leveling up. He’s not forcing shots and the ball is moving really well right now.

This is looking like a .500 basketball team. This was always going to be a rebuilding team. Bro please control the hot takes. I'm not looking forward to an entire season of radio show caller level diatribe over every quarter that doesn't go their way. The only person who gets carte blanche to shitpost away like this is wcp and he's earned that right by absolutely mastering the craft.

I'm standing by the fact that we are going to be 3 or 4 in the East barring a catastrophic injury
We are way way better than last year.

WCP's consistency in negativitism becomes easier to ignore in time. He said the same about Brad, game in game out. Better to take with a grain of salt and comic relief rather than actually get annoyed. I am learning that lesson once again here at the beginning of a new season.

I’ll add you need to read his posts that aren’t during the game to get his true read on things. He’s been clear about this in the past. During the game is just ranting, which is fine. I’m a mush so I like to post negative things to reverse it at times.

Watching the C's is kinda like watching Daisuke Matsuzaka pitch. Whether they win or lose, it's frustrating and exhausting.

What different Roles has Grant Williams had? I see a guy that's a backup PF asked to play d and sit at the three point line to provide spacing. He was asked to be backup center last year, for which he was miscast and which caused him to beef up.

ADD: If anything, the biggest role change so far is that he's NOT being asked to guard SFs.

I haven't notice him get beefed up, he's been incredibly jacked since day one. Go look at his pictures in College. The biggest difference this year is he's taking more shots and has been on fire. Which has raised his per 36 minutes points from 9.3 to 17.4, yet his rebounds are 3.7 which has been a huge issue for us.

Grant sneaky showed some growth as a shooter last year, but it was overshadowed by him being a hack show on defense. He’s moving his feet so much better this year on that end, which I think will be more valuable and sustainable over the season than his improved shooting.

In the post game, after the Houston game, Grant and the reporters talked about him gaining weight before last year to be bulkier, then losing weight before this year to be quicker.

Here’s more on this from preseason: That's what I was originally trying to allude to but didn't find the reporting. Thx. Whatever it is, he has a better role and is doing well, and I am glad

Given Grants build and that his problem has been he is a tweener, I never would have advised him to gain weight. Marcus was bigger and got quicker by losing some wt, the NBA is all about athleticism. I hope he keeps it up and is a valuable rotation piece. It is obvious coaches like his game more than most of us have over the past few seasons, they keep playing him. He could be a very versatile 4 with Williams at the 5, they are both smart players moving the ball.
Could Grant, Rob, Tatum and Brown be a good four along with any pg of MS, DS and PP? You have 3 good guards that can each add something very different. If you need to penetrate you have DS, shooting and stretch with PP and the best one is Marcus. Just a thought, I kind of like it. Grant is not Al but he can be Al like with his shooting and Bball IQ.
Brown at the 2 makes them really tough, I would like to see them take advantage of his size with that move.

Knicks are blowing out the 76ers on the backs of Kemba and Fournier. Oh, what could have been (not really).

You gotta let people vent with the emotions of the game - maybe people just need to know when a game is on and read things accordingly.
