I won't go on some rant, yet Ime doesn't have two years, this isn’t a rebuilding team. If you think it is, you play Pritchard, Nesmith and Langford big minutes.
Stevens must be going crazy. He built this team the way he'd use them and Ime is trying to play old School Spurs ball.

Smart dealing w some serious stomach issues it sounds like, I hope he is okay. Could explain some of the strange play lately.

I hope Smart feels better, yet I'm glad he's out. We can start Schroder and play Pritchard as the backup which is putting our two best PGs in the right spots. Now if he would just find some common sense and pick one of Robert Williams and Horford to start. Given reports on Nesmith, I'd start Richardson and play Langford with Pritchard.
Big test for our Coach, going against a team you just played.

This team is so embarrassingly soft on defense. You really have to question why.

This team is so embarrassingly soft on defense. You really have to question why. It’s effort. They don’t have heart and are soft. It took Boston getting into the second quarter before they shot a free throw. They like settling for difficult threes. And when Montrezl yells and mean mugs for a second straight game, they all just take it.

This is not a smart team nor do they work hard.
Other than that, things are going great.

Washington shooting 36%, this game would be a Celtics blowout if they could hit 3s today. I don’t think the defense has been an issue.

0 for 19 in 3s in the 3rd Q. Gang that couldn't shoot straight.

Lol, Tatum seriously needs to overhaul his offseason routine. Whatever he’s doing does not have him ready for the start of seasons.
He’s been in the league long enough - figure it out already.

I thought that reports were that Tatum was in great shape, built up, able to be more physical.

Tatum may have just lost the game with that turnover. Cannot say enough bad things about his last two games.

Ime sitting on a timeout and watching Tatum take a horrendous shot to end OT.
They’ve both been laughably bad to start this season.

That is one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen. These refs can rot in hell.

This team is funny. Op, here’s Jayson with a big smile on his face dappin’ up the opposing team.

I’m glad Ime called out Jaylen, but he continues to not hold Tatum accountable for his crap.
You cannot have a worse start as a coach.

Well good news is you found your starting lineup. Tatum needs to work on driving, mid range and in the post.

Terrible basketball..
With the game he just had and the way he and the team have been playing I wasn't happy to see him yucking it up with the opponent after the game. I don't care about the relationship with Beal, who had a great game. Tatum tried to keep up with him and couldn't, and played a bad game while trying to. Just terrible, for the first time I question whether he will be the man that leads the C's to a championship. It might be old school but you wouldn't see any of the all time great players acting like that under the same circumstances. The Celtics are soft right now and he is leading the way.

Very close, but no cigar. loss by a ton of missed 3s Just a couple more 3s would have made the difference. I loved the Richardson and Shroeder quickness, attack mode...and tenacity. But there is still too much hero ball for me. What is Horford eating? Wow...

Let's see if we hear "we are close to turning a corner" or "it was closer than the score" type BS. Tatum better be taking more than 1 FT a game... Where have I heard this stuff before? These are not the quotes of a hungry, winning team. I'm all for being loose and resilient, but not when you never actually change. Sad to see Richardson jumping on the "close is good enough" train. Why TF are we bringing in these vets if they are just gonna make rookie mistakes and not change the culture for the better?
