not sure if X should have had that, but if i guess, the best defensive SS probably would have.

Nice work by Danish, particularly the backdoor slider on Olson.

Dugie: 111 mph off the bat, .870 xBA.
Story: 99 mph off the bat, .730 xBA.
Thoughts and prayers to RNGesus.

No-swing Franchy is my favorite Franchy.

Has anyone ever seen Franchy and Juan Soto in the same room?

Franchy never really walked until he got sent down last year. Hopefully a lightbulb has actually gone off in his head in terms of his approach. I don’t see him being good enough of a hitter for 1B, but could prove useful in a OF/1B bench/utility type role if he can be a league average hitter.

Cordero for leadoff hitter. .348 OBP He also has good speed, so it could be a good fit. If he can stick to this approach and Kiké keeps playing terribly I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a chance.

Get back to me in a few more games.

5 walks - Cordero (3) and Bradley Jr. (2). What is going on?

great to score 6 runs, but having them all in 1 inning is a sign of absolutely not breaking out. We need non zero innings.

Kiké should try a lighter bat imo. This is what I do when I'm using some random heavy bat while playing softball. The bat is too heavy, so the barrel drops a fraction of an inch compared to a lighter bat, and you end up popping up any ball that's high. That or he should hit the gym.
Edit: Lowering his hands would also help. If it were working for him I wouldn't knock it, but he's fighting an uphill battle with his stance.

i haven't watched many games this year, but i gotta say, this is some boring sh*t. Just the game itself has no energy.
