If it’s Brasier… straight to jail If it’s Robles… jail If it’s Davis believe it or not, jail. No matter what happens, blame Cora for making the wrong choice. Diekman was more of a Bloom decision. Cora is just working with what he had. With the exception of the first game of the series where he botched a lot of things with the Hill and Robles desicions.

This could be Diekman's last batter - by hook or Crook!

I was never worried. How 'bout you guys ? Great win (Guidas). Let's get things rollin' with home cookin' wins against our top opponents.

Offense should be buying the pitching staff steaks after that series

2 gutty innings. First Strahm in TOR now Diekman in CHI. Hate to go there, but sometimes out of necessity.

Now I mean this in the best sense: Diekman is like Ottavino. Generally pretty awesome. But prone to wild, ugly appearances that leave lingering stinks… and maybe leave more of a negative impression than they should.

All jokes aside, Diekman has what are the two most impressive relief outings of the year for the Sox. This and the Yankees striking out the side. Would love if he clicked into gear for the second half of the year.

Great win!
let’s hope the recent crap RISP (2-19) is an aberration.

Does Theo ever get criticism for leaving the cupboards bare in Chicago. ? Probably not. He is Teflon when it comes to criticism. Well, Theo DID break a 100 year curse with the Cubs, so that will buy him some goodwill(deservedly so). But he also drafted pretty well and they traded a ton of his guys for prospects recently(Darvish, Schwarber, Bryant, Baez, Rizzo, Kimbrel, others?). So we will see how they did in terms of recovering talent for all those guys.

He has a ton of flaws, but he took advantage of every broken rule in the past 3 CBA's to win win 3 different titles for 2 different organizations. He'll be known as the "curse breaker." He should get a hall pass from both the Sox and Cubs fans.

Kutter Crawford against the Rays is a disaster 24 hours in the future, especially with Franco back.

Kutter Crawford against the Rays is a disaster 24 hours in the future, especially with Franco back. The Rays are a bottom third offense. It's actually a good spot for Crawford (and Bello).
