Players who stuck out to me as having really good games (in no particular order): Marchand Coyle McAvoy Hall Foligno Carlo No one stood out as having a bad one to me. Lauko had that one stretch where he couldn't get the puck out of the zone and didn't do a whole lot, but I wouldn't say he was "bad". It was far from their best game, however it was very methodical, workmanlike well exaccuted game. Florida dominated some shifts but never had more than one at a time. I know Florida is a wildcard team but just last year they had 122 points for the season. Nice team win. |

Teams rarely sweep, so I am not terribly concerned. Like the Celtics, I think the Bruins can be as good as they are motivated to be on a given night. It would be good to polish off Florida in as few games as possible and get healthy again. Fun team to watch.

Fav part of last night is when Ekblad tried to torpedo McAvoy away from the puck and more or less ran into a brick wall. He tried to come back but missed the 3rd after he determined he couldn’t. Here’s to hoping the hockey gods punish him further for that scuzzery and he can’t play the rest of the series

It clearly wasn't. It was one of a about a dozen dirty plays from the Panthers, which the officials seem completely uninterested in placing. |

Dominated for the first half of the period. Great heads up play by Marchy to get the lead. Second PP beyond pathetic.
Pastrnak had a couple of breakaways he did nothing with.
Lucky to be up after that period. Let's see a better effort and get a goal on the PP to start the 2nd.
Florida keeps being cheap. We need to get out of this series before those dirty MFers hurt someone seriously.

Horrid officiating. Panthers are limp dick losers who take cheap shot after cheap shot. Matt Tkachuk seriously deserves a game suspension for his consistent pattern of cross checking and cross checking after the whistle. Cross checking a goalie? Seriously?
Glad the boys kept it together today. One more and then let's get a little rest for the team...

Don't do what the Celtics did last night I was just about to say that tonight the Bruins have a chance to make a statement that they're the team to be putting your faith into. A win here would be huge assuming Bergeron and Krejčí are able to come back strong with more rest. |
