JDB single handedly trying to end the bad 2015 draft narrative tonight.
Happy Birthday

Studnicka skating in the middle of the 3rd line this am with Coyle on the RW (Smith probably a scratch). Love that their giving him look and, even moreso, that it's on the 3rd line instead of the 4th (where I don't think his skill set is that useful). Don't love Coyle on the wing but, at some point, you need to see if you have a young C in the system that can be a middle 6 (or better, but not likely) guy.

Wow Ullmark , unreal. I so happy this guy is kicking azz. Before I think it was the home opener Jaffe and Peterson were talking about him. He was asked if he felt more comfortable in his 2nd year. He said he feels the same but Jaffe said he is playing more to his size. He’s 6’4.

This referee is blind, if that’s not guiding in the puck, then I don’t know what is.
Overturned you turd
Obvious rant but what is the deal with the referee in both leagues? Against the home team.

Great. It’s 5 on 3
I shoulda stayed outside and kept working in my yard
I mean it was only a matter of time the Wild was gonna tie it up. They spent the whole period in Boston’s end.

The first few games they showed a lot of offense and then the lack of D bit them. So what happens, they turn around and show that they can play top tier defense. Meanwhile a not so shabby offensive player (Marchand) and top defensemen (McAvoy) are on the mend and will be adding talent to what looks like a deep squad. Just need Swayman to return the form he has shown in the past and build consistency as a young upcoming goalie. These guys are going to be a lot of fun this season. much to be optimistic about.

If I knew that Ullmark would play this way, I'd be fine with keeping things as is. Might keep Swaymans' contract down (RFA this offseason). But, in reality, they'll need both this year.

Wow! After Montgomery indicating he would play before Thanksgiving but not yet, Marchand IS playing tonight.
Need a transaction bc they have 23 players prior to activating Marchand.

Seems like the prospect (defenseman Jonathan Myrenberg) is the real prize there. Lotta Canucks fans upset about the move online.
I’d imagine Axelsson has seen him. Seems to be a RHD with good skating and size
Marchand is a god
The Bruins might be a wagon

Not long ago, Pronman (The Athletic) had DiPietro rated highly in a stacked Vancouver pipeline and projected him to be an NHL starter. Not sure what happened.

Not long ago, Pronman (The Athletic) had DiPietro rated highly in a stacked Vancouver pipeline and projected him to be an NHL starter. Not sure what happened. He’s really small, he’s got long odds at his size Vancouver fans pretty much have the same complaints in re: to him that bruins fans had about Studnicka (didn’t feel coaching benefitted him)
