Nice shutout last night.
Who knew the best move was firing the coach and giving Montgomery a second chance . This hiring wasn’t popular with the ones who follow this team. I guess he runs something similar to the Lightning.

It was unpopular with the people who think that because you had a drinking problem at one point in your life that you must bring nothing to the table and can’t control yourself People that actually knew hockey (and players around the league) loved it |

I don't think it had anything to do with Montgomery. I just think people thought it was a mistake to fire Cassidy.

The Presser vs Transaction dynamic has been weird -
First, coach announces that Marchand won't play in "next 2 games", then he's in the lineup. Now, Krejci is listed as day to day and joined the team going to Pittsburgh (but coach announce he won't play) and now he's been moved to IR.
May have needed the healthy bodies for the upcoming trip, hence the move to IR for Krejci. Otherwise, why now (if he is, in fact, day to day).

I did not see this from Ullmark last season I am so pumped at how he is just took over the number 1 job.
I keep forgetting Forbort what a job he is doing defending and physical

So last night I had nothing to do while I was driving I put on 98.5 and Murray was on complaining that the B’s are peaking too early. I can not stand there gimmick . Joke sports station.

The bad news is I didn’t win powerball but the good news we have a game tonight in MSG. Good news nobody won powerball so your still in the game. Bad news I couldn't watch the game because I don't have espn plus. |

I watched it on Hulu! Bruins really poured it on in the third - this looks like a very strong closing team. They are at a record start without McAvoy. Impressive.

I have ESPN +, I like watching the UFC too. But you can’t change channels on the internet like the tv.

BC we're not allowed to just have positive feelings about this team, the Bs have signed former ARZ 4th Round pick, Mitchell Miller. He wasn't signed by the Coyotes and his rights were revoked bc of a "bullying incident" back when he was in middle school.
I have it in quotes only bc of the questions of whether it was an "incident" or "years of behavior".

Yeah so we got a wagon folks, my goodness Lindholm trade may be the best bruins deal since Neely Before the season began, I posted on FB that if healthy come playoff time this team had Stanley Cup Aspirations. Lindhoms addition was a main reason why, a big lh shooting defenseman that can move the puck is something they have been searching for a decade, that and Krejci back and what appeared to be a breakthrough for DeBrusk the second half of last season. All that said, I'm surprised by the start, by Ullmark, by how quickly Marchand returned and how he looked like he was in mid-season for before the end of his first game, by how well the third and fourth line has played and produced, even Hall has been a solid surprise so far. The only real negative so far has been Swayman and I feel confident that will work itself out, as he appeared to have righted the ship the game before he was hurt. |

I think he should get a second chance to make a life for himself, i view living an elite lifestyle playing professional sports as a privilege though and what he did imo eliminates that privilege. This wasn’t a one time incident, he more or less tortured a handicapped black kid for a period of like 7 years and hasn’t really shown genuine remorse for it according to the victims family. This includes physically beating him, calling him the N word, and giving him a piece of candy that he wiped in a urinal To an organization that says they pride themselves on character and diversity this should be a disqualifying situation . Would’ve rather they had just gotten Tony DeAngelo a couple years ago if they were ok with scumbags. Bergeron seemed awfully uncomfortable being trotted out there to do SweeNeely’s damage control too. Probably wondering why tf he came back for minimum dollars to do this BS for those two morons. Even beyond all of the specifics- why make this signing right now when there is so much positivity around the team? Now there is a media firestorm, both local and national/international. Unfathomably dumb. |
