It must be nice to be Embid, drive and just throw away the ball because they will give him two free ones at the line, smh. That's awful NBA awful. He gets fouled on almost every one of those drives. |

They survived not particularly good games by Smart (forced things), and Grant Williams. Brogdon with an off night. Tatum can be forgiven for an off game by winning it!

They’re really not built to play with Boston, especially if the Celtics are gonna move the ball and Horford is going to hit wide open shots. |

Mazzulla has some tough decisions to make come crunch time. White and especially Brogdon have proven to be far better creators than Tatum and Brown. One thing for sure, I don’t see anyway that Grant should be playing crunch time like he was last night. He probably will against Milwaukee and Philly, but he shouldn’t. I think Al just needs to defend Giannis and Embiid, and Grant should be on the bench. Because the only thing Grant does better than White/Brogdon/Timelord is take a seven foot elbow to the chest, and Al can do that too.

Well, this is certainly one of the worst Celts games in a long time. Tatum sitting at a big -17. Brogdon is playing well. Grant Williams ... ugh.

The NBA has somehow butchered replay more than any other league.
Refs should have one minute to make a decision, otherwise the call stands. This isn’t hard.

When Tatum is playing like has been post All Star game, he has some stuff to figure out. He and Grant have to stop their carping about fouls. They just need to shut up and play. This team can win it all - the only thing that can prevent them is themselves.

Give me Noel all day long. He might not play, yet one injury and you actually have defensive big depth. Nevermind a fairly good rebounder when you play small.

For all the wing talk, I agree with a defensive big.
You lose Tatum, you still have Brown, White, Brogdon and G Williams as part of the solution

The offense in general looks awful. No flow, bad decisions, turnovers.
Tatum having a better night - they cleaned a few things up in quarter 2.
