Like I’ve said all season long-they can turn the switch on when they need to. I couldn’t be less worried about this series, there’s been nothing troubling about it

It must be so much fun to have Tatum, Brogdon, Brown and White and be guarded by Trae Young.

Trae Young is by far the biggest fraud “star” in the league

That 2028 pick swap for Derrick White was a genius addition by Brad if that’s what was needed. Guys a joy to watch when he’s playing confident.

I know he was among the leading vote getters for “most underrated player” by his fellow peers

White is so, so good. Does all the little stuff well (pushes the ball on offense, makes quick decisions on the perimeter, gets back on defense, communicates coverages, gets deflections, etc.) and does some of the big stuff well as well (for instance, he's one of the most underrated on-ball defenders out there). Both he and Brogdon are the kinds of guys every championship team needs. That three-guard rotation complements Tatum and Brown so well.

I said multiple times I thought he was expendable, and I'm so so glad to be proven wrong! How far we go hinges on him as much as RWIII in the Non-Star impact. (still feel good about my proposal of Grant-Pritchard for Vanderbilt at the deadline, but c'est la vie)

Disappointed that Draymond only got one game. He should have been suspended for the rest of the post-season, what he did was absolutely inexcusable.

I blame the NBA for Green, they let him get away with so much it's just crazy. He's a clown and a dirty player. I can't believe there was even a debate about a suspension.

Anyone think Grant Williams is kicking himself after turning down that extension?

I blame the NBA for Green, they let him get away with so much it's just crazy. He's a clown and a dirty player. I can't believe there was even a debate about a suspension. People saying Sabonis should have been suspended too are absolutely delusional. Feels like every game there's a play where a Draymond "flailing limb" leads him to ACCIDENTALLY hit someone. It's frustrating because he IS a great defender, but bullshit plays have no place in the sport because it goes unpunished nowadays. Back in the day if he tried that funny business you know someone like Bill Laimbeer would smack him so hard he would be sent back in time and never do that sh*t again. So players won't stop it because they're afraid to retaliate and get punished, so it leaves off the NBA to punish him and stop it. It took him jumping on a man's chest on a national televised game for the NBA to do something.

Such a lazy effort on defense so far. Don’t mess around with an inferior team - finish the job and get some rest before the next series.

Amazing what a difference effort makes.

Amazing what a difference effort makes. This was a game the Hawks had to win...backs against the wall..loose and let it fly. The Cs do not have the same desperation intensity. If the Cs somehow win tonite, it's a 4 game sweep.

If the Cs somehow win tonite, it's a 4 game sweep. I expected the Hawks to bring it, but the Celtics are putting in a mid-February effort tonight, especially on defense. You would hope this group would’ve learned its lesson by now, but apparently not.

Gosh this Hawks team is terrible defensively.
And man alive is this Celtics team goofy.
No killer instinct to speak of.

They didn’t take their opponent seriously, played selfish basketball, couldn’t finish a defensive possession, and committed some brainless turnovers.
Every terrible habit this team has was on display tonight. They continue to get in their own way far too often.

So...was the Celts D so bad, or the Atl shooters so hot? I watched it in parts, and my thought is both can be true.

So...was the Celts D so bad, or the Atl shooters so hot? I watched it in parts, and my thought is both can be true. Atlanta hit some ridiculously tough shots, but they were also breezing past Celtics guards from the jump, faced zero resistance at the rim, and got so many extra possessions on backbreaking offensive rebounds. We’ve seen this story time and time again with this group. I expect them to come out completely different on Sunday, but these bad habits could come back to bite them in another series.

Well, teams don't sweep that often, so I am OK as long as they realize how they let the Hawks win that game last night. They really don't want to play with fire and extend these early series. So - I feel pretty well equally confident about the Bs and Cs, though the Cs tend to have those effort issues at the weirdest times.

I believe that Vegas correctly so has both the B's and the C's as the favorites to win their respective championships but If both are on I'm going to watch the more desperate Boston team. I said before the games if only one team should win tonight (Friday) then let it be the Bruins because at least both would still be up and in command of their series up 2-1.

I think some team would be willing to give good value for Smart and I'd try to hold on to Pritchard, he's a perfect sparkplug off the bench and would compliment White and Brogdon well. But it's to early for these discussions that is what the off-season is for.

I'm pretty tired of the swings in effort from this crew. They need to get it together. Atlanta is a .500 team for a reason.
The Sixers are now resting which is a killer given Embiid gets to rest his knee. Unacceptable for a championship team tbh.
