Another W to the total so far. Hauser had his best night scoring wise.
That block Tatum made that’s what makes him special he has height too. He is almost perfectly built for basketball.

Stevens signing Hauser was darn good. Trading Nesmith because he knew Hauser was the better player to develop and give playing time to, Brilliant. He's literally what people wanted Nesmith to be. In reality he's so much more skilled than Nesmith ever was. Not the same level athlete, so D will be a worry and basically decide his ceiling. If he gets to even average that's fine.
Brogdon on D has been about what I expected and that's not good. Maybe he just needs time, yet he needs to improve.
This team is so deep Pritchard can't even barely get minutes, he'd be starting for a bunch of teams. The Lakers need him, unreal how little shooting they have. I'd offer him up for a future unprotected first round pick. Doubt they're that stupid, yet they are desperate. Yet that's what you get for trading all your shooters for Westbrook.

Brogdon out tonight - wasn't aware he has a history of getting nicked up. Hope it isn't more than a one game thing. Tatum's wrist banged up too, but he will play through it. Should be an entertaining game tonight.

they worked through their typical 3Q slump well. Playing well into the 4th.

I'm well behind in the game, I tape everything and speed through commercials with the idea of catching up late in the game but so far alot to like, Jalen again starts off the game on fire, I'd love him to do the same for an entire game, Payton Pritchard looked great in limited time great head up hustle plays. Good first half against a good team.

Four more 30 point plus quarters. The Js have 59 points - 16 boards and 13 assists. They are hot as a firecracker. Who says the Js can't play well together for greatness. Team shooting 55%
11 points and 5 boards in 15 min for Pritchard - didn't miss Brogdon tonight, obviously. Smart only 4 points - but a PLUS 28!
I just started listening to the 4th Q. Was looking at gamecast first three (with most attention on the Handmaid's Tale season 5 finale.)

Offensive juggernaut. If they figure out the D they’ll be a wagon

Offensive juggernaut. If they figure out the D they’ll be a wagon Looking back to last season where the new coach intergrated defense first then followed with offense, is it crazy to think the new coach is doing the opposite? He knows they can lock down the defense so work on the offense first?

I think missing King Block and Clock (Timelord) is a big factor too If we can put him in bubble wrap until like March I’ll be happy

I like the way the backups played last night . Kornet had skills, Payton was unreal that play he stole the rebound from Jordan. That team they beat is no joke.

No Jaylen? No Horford? No Brogdon? No Rob Williams?
No problem. We have Jayson!
What an amazing start to this season.

I just read that Timelord came with the team on the road trip. He is progressing and added to his workload but the Celtics will not push him and will not give a timetable.
This gets my juices pumping.

He knows they can lock down the defense so work on the offense first? Absolutely. It was one of my bigger complaints against Ime because offense wins more regular season games. You can't play playoff level D for a full season and playoffs. So it's very smart and frankly the offense was the issue last playoffs. Now we get to see how good he really is, can he gradually get the D better as the season goes along, with it peaking last quarter of the season? Just something to keep an eye on, you want a top ten offense and defense. The D is rated 23rd right now. You can't just say it's Robert Williams either. So great start, I'm generally impressed. Yet now the hard part starts getting guys like Brogdon and Hauser up to par. Trying to unlock Vonleh defensive ability without him fouling so much. Plus getting Brown going. In a way he's already started switching Grant for White. Then the huge effect of keeping the offense going when Robert Williams gets back, nevermind rotation changes and the minute challenges. Add in that I was hoping we'd start to see some expanded offense from Robert, like taking more of those nice looking jump shots. What do you do with Pritchard, who can't hardly get minutes now. Nevermind Stevens likes mid-season trades when Danny didn't.

I have to give Danny Ainge major props as the Jazz are 10-4 after trading off 3 of their best players to rebuild. Reminds me of him getting Thomas and us doing so well waiting on all those picks. Even better he was graceful enough to go to the Western conference. He's just unreal and trained Stevens to be damn good.

Valid Points. Tatum has led the league in scoring before.
