Credit where it’s due: whatever my eyes say about Kluber, he’s pitting together the best start of the year for the home team. At least one part of his anatomy is as spry as ever.

It seems to me that Yu Chang is kinda not very good at hitting baseballs.

Pitching is fantastic, it's too bad the offense is just terrible. Yoshida, Duvall, Turner. Terrible signings.

His drafts were so brutal though, I don’t think there’s been a 5 year stretch with as little pitching production as his tenure. Best pick was Kopech who DD flipped thank god Yeah just went back and looked at his draft record, I was attributing some stuff to the wrong guy. Hand up that’s on me! Still helped with the foundation for 2018. Ppl can say he lucked out in 2013 but he went out and acquired a lot of those guys who were key cogs on that team. Still like what he’s doing in Pitt No worries lol. I will say it’s kinda remarkable how many on the 2018 were from Theo not Cherington. Mookie, Xander, Vazquez, Barnes, Bradley, all Theo. I do think Pittsburgh is the right place for him, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens there

Pulling Kluber here means Cora wants this one bad Probably shouldn’t be starting every scrub possible then. I get that it’s a day game after a night game, but yikes.

Yoshida should have caught that one, it hung up enough

Pirates are playing crisp baseball, Red Sox are playing like it’s still March

Too early in the season for groaning? I'm going to go power wash my screens.

Schrieber is making me wonder if Brasier can get ready quickly.

Pirates will be punished for letting this bum face our order three times

I'm only lightly following along on Gameday as I work, but seems like a disproportionate amount of ground balls on offense.

If we suck in May I’ll sound the alarm but it’s still the first week of April. 162 games, let’s see what happens when we’re past the second week of April

For all the focus on Bello and Whitlock, Story is the guy they need back as much as anyone.

1 hit through 6 is pretty bad though Mitch Keller isn't exactly Sandy Alcantara either... But he is today
