Nah it probably means they’re equally comfortable with a handful of guys so are fine kicking the van down the road to pick up a couple assets. That’s what I’d guess anyway Is that why they traded up to 25th in the first place? I don’t think acquiring the pick in the first place was about that specific pick as much as it was recouping value for the assets they were moving out in the deal. |

If the Mavericks’ trades are effectively settled at 10 + Bertans for 12 + 24 + Richaun Holmes then they easily win the draft given how well Lively and Prosper fit with Luka IMO

We'll have to see what picks, if they're Detroits own 2nds heck yeah. Salary cap reasons and keep getting assets after trading them all for 3 years! I have multiple guys rather close and would be happy with any of them.
At same time whoever they wanted was gone, yet I don't look at it as they traded up either.
