I do think Smart out and Holiday in might have a big impact on the team culture. Marcus is competitive as hell but also a big talker and I bet Tatum and Brown were sick of him lecturing them about passing the ball by the end. Jrue, as a guy with championship experience and a sterling reputation, might be the kind of veteran who breaks through to them by leading by example.

I know people are raving about his first practice and his intensity already

Just being able to watch games and NOT scream at my teevee when Grant incessantly babbles to the refs, or Smart sees himself as the one to take the critical end of game shot is thrilling to me. I can't wait for the season to start.

I dont know if true But Brodgon might be a low key pain the rear too gone. I loved Timelord but this deal is mouthwatering. To tell you the truth if you have this diamond but it very fragile what good is it. They had a nice pick to deal too the Warriors. Brad really he is very impressive. I rooting for Mazz. I just want the season to be as great as I think it will be.

I think we see big improvement from Mazzulla this year. He’s not getting thrown in last second.

My biggest hope is our new assistant coaches, two of them are much more qualified to be NBA headcoaches than our actual head coach. Who before even having a season as a top assistant was made the coach. If he's smart he'll lean on those guys heavily.

Barring catastrophic injury, this team is going to be extremely good.
Being able to roll out these lineups in crunch time dependent on matchup is ridiculous:
Jrue-White-JB-JT-Horford Jrue-White-JB-JT-Porzingis Jrue-JB-JT-Porzingis-Horford

I can't wait for the season to start. I feel your pain...and Hope to add the demise of hero ball in games down the stretch. Realistically and undoubtedly tho something will crop up to take their place. It seemingly always does. Still, I can't wait to start this next journey ..

I watched a bit more than a half - was pleased with what I saw. Going to be a fun season.

The atmosphere was electric for a preseason game. The Celtics are going to be big beneficiaries of the lack of enthusiasm for the Patriots and Red Sox.

I like seeing 7 boards and 2 steals from Walsh in 19 min. Had a nice steal and score
Stevens is probably the most rotation ready out of all the maybe guys, high floor with him. I think he knows the way he’ll get on the floor is with rebounding and defense. He’ll be playing most nights I think. Banton with 20. Queta with the highest +/- on the night
Pritchard filled it up again
Was entirely a bench game

it’s a basketball town baby let’s gooooooo I love the vibes, really excited to see what we do. I'm all-in again. I think PP is gonna step up to the task and be a legit 7th man, I've seen Oshae pop on stat sheets over the years; maybe he can muster up some new tricks? I think there's enough potential on the bench for one or two guys to emerge. Question: who is our biggest rival at this point? Regular season doesn't seem to bring out rivalries anymore, though maybe the rest restrictions will help. Is it the Heat since they seem to make us rock-fight? Is it the Bucks since we have the Lillard/Holiday dynamic even though so many faces changed on both sides? The Sixers are a "rival" the same as 1990s Sox-Yankees. We don't play the Lakers often enough. Who are we getting pumped up to beat between now an April? Denver since they are the Champs?

I’d say the Sixers but that’s been more of a one-sided beating than anything else

I say bucks and Heat, it's what this teams rivalries are, not ones from decades ago. The Sixers can't be a rivalry as we just always destroy them in playoffs and Lakers what going back 1.5 decades?
Biggest one is easily the Heat with their adjustable D, with Zone D killing us for years.

I’m sure if we faced Lebron I could get my dander up about the Lakers, we just won’t because that team is washed and because of that I do not really care about what happens to them

Rivalries aren’t simply your biggest competition. Sox and Yankees weren’t just a rivalry between 2003 and 2008, they were for decades despite the Sox never winning.
