Kyle Teel was added to the FCL roster. Hopefully we'll get his debut today.
ADD: Nazzan Zanetello was added, too.

They make everyone start at the FCL for at least a few games. If Teel plays today he might be in A-Ball next week

Yeah, this is standard operating procedure for the Sox. Teel won't be in the FCL for long.

Another multi-hit game for Cespedes. He has multi-hit games in 16/32 games in the DSL (not including a suspended game being completed on Saturday in which he already has another multi-hit game).

Zanetello and Teel out after 5 innings. 0-2 games for both. I wonder if Teel will get promoted once he's built up to a full game.

He added a double and finished the day 3-3. For the time being he's tied for the most doubles in the DSL and second in hits.

Solid outing for Nicolas De La Cruz, too: 5IP 3IP 1ER 0BB 4K
Franklin Arias with a 3-4 day in his return to the lineup.

He was. Now he’s 24 right behind Cespedes which is very accurate imo.

He’s got no future here now with Chang and Reyes back and Story on the way and now we also just traded for another MI. Likely he will be a pinch runner only and come next year he better come with a glove or he’s going to get benched for the young studs coming up.

How long do teams carry draft rights to a guy that's playing another professional sport? Feleipe Franks just got waived today and while I'm not suggesting he has any shot at a baseball career, it just made me generally curious.
Also, getting a tweet notification that Feleipe Franks got waived and immediately thinking "oh yeah, Red Sox draftee" is one of the most broken-brain moves conceivable.

Matthew Lugo activated from the IL, Matt Donlan to the dev list, and Robert Kwiatkowski down to Greenville.

I think David Hamilton knows after he got sent back down that was probably his only chance to stick. I'm sorry, but this is positively absurd. I would have to concur on this being fairly outlandish. If you make it to the Major Leagues at age 25, struggle, and get sent back down, it's not as though you say "ehh I guess that was it, I got my shot. I got a taste of the Major Leagues, but I've just got to be realistic.." Particularly when you're a middle infielder, and look up and see the kind of numbers being produced by the Red Sox middle infield as a whole (which I believe are close to, if not the worst in MLB?) Also, injuries... Also, expanded rosters and the opportunity to have a David Robertson sort of impact in September/October (although I realize this is less likely now that it's only 28 players)..
