Don't see no problem calling up Rafaela to the majors 5 games back from a wild card spot with how inconsistent this team is maybe he gives them a lift.

Duran's defense in CF is still subpart, the arm is not adequate for RF which makes a LF only player and the offense their is not good considering that he's a BABIP merchant. If DiPotto is willing to trade one of his young arms, you do it. Sure, he's not going to hit as well as he has but his .331 xWOBA still points to an average to slightly above average hitter. That and his speed probably gets him to a cheap ~3fWAR ish player for the next few years.

I would hate to be a pitcher on this team. This might be the worst defense in the last twenty years.

Lucky enough to not have to face Bo Bichette for a series, and his replacement swoops in out of nowhere and hits for what seems like a .900 average against us, just beautiful

Can we actually fire Cora legit tired of him as a manager. Team needs a new voice.

This weekend's outcome just makes you regret that they got hot right before the trade deadline.

He should be good at darts if he can aim the center like that.

although it is sneezed on by mathematician types, the law of averages pointed to us being swept at home because we were 7-0 against them going in. The Universe keeps tally on this kind of stuff. I don't know what law you're referring to but it's certainly not the law of averages. i don't know, sounds about right. but in the event in isn't, you know what I mean. law of av·er·ag·es -noun
the principle that supposes most future events are likely to balance any past deviation from a presumed average.
"the law of averages suggests it is Arsenal's turn to beat their neighbors"
maybe we are experiencing the Law of Awful Baseball this weekend.

If the players quit because the sox did not “trade for reinforcements” then they could never handle the boston market to begin with.
because they do no that trading for reinforcements means players currently in the fenway locker room would be sent out as well yes?

I don't think the players quit. The team is currently being held together with tape and bubble gum and we just ran out of bubble gum.

Team was lucky as hell that Murphy pitched as long as he did without a blow up. Not a believer in him at all
I do however still have some faith in Llovera.

Yes, the idea is that the worst players on the roster would be jettisoned for better players. Somehow I think most of the players would be down with that.
