Drake Maye on the CW against Virginia
He’s a little more polished than college Josh Allen but he’s still gonna need some work at the NFL level before he’s any good. Wouldn’t be a day 1 thing but ultimately I think he has elite QB potential. Can just be pretty erratic at times right now

The problem is they keep shooting themselves in the foot. Early turnovers and penalties put them behind before the game has even started. So, they have to play from behind. With our offense, that's not a good way to start a game. With Brady, if we were behind with 2 minutes to go and no timeouts, it was a sure win. Those days are long gone.
They have so many holes, they are going to have to nail the next draft. If, they get blown out today, they have until the 1st to load up on draft choices. Then watch the practice squad guys finish out the season. That equals first pick in the first round and all the other rounds.
Then we get to scouting.

benogliviesbrother Go ask New England Revolution fan that question. They just sold best young goalie in msl Djordje Petrović 24 years old to Chelsea football club for money ... I don't know a thing about the Rev or soccer. I don't even watch that TV show about soccer in England & some dude from Texas. That's why I was commenting on the NE Patriots & the salary cap -- something I know a little about. Fact: every dollar that gets paid to a player hits the cap. So by definition, any team that spends to the cap, year in and year out, is SPENDING cash money on players. The idea of the owner being cheap, or not, is talk show fodder. It is the sort of specious topic that can inflame the emotions of listeners & callers. Okay, fair enough topic to talk about (if we ignore the possible anti-Semitic appeal for a portion of the listeners). But when it come to spending on players, it is simply indisputably false. He spends. He always has.

Okay, fair enough topic to talk about (if we ignore the possible anti-Semitic appeal for a portion of the listeners). But when it come to spending on players, it is simply indisputably false. He spends. He always has. Your cap number is yearly salary and guaranteed money spreadout over the contract that was already paid, in a very basic sense. So you can be at the cap level and not be a huge cash spender in a certain year. Why? The players got large signing bonuses years earlier. The Patriots spending is fine, the attacks are kinda crazy. One thing you can say is that they don't go all in like Bucs or Rams did. Where they go crazy for years and push large amounts of dead money into the future. The bill will come do. At the same time, you need the right team to do that with, especially the right QB. Given Bills age, we really should do that once we get our QB. Same with trading future draft picks to win now, compared to acquiring ones for the future.

I'll have to watch an LSU game, his numbers look darn good. I do have to add, Brian Kelly had many QBs at Notre Dame put up big numbers, none did anything in NFL. It's going to be an interesting time heading up to the draft, QBs and WRs stacked at crazy levels if they all come out. Those two positions are the best to watch tape on also. OT are crazy hard without access to Game Day tape will all angles.

Rap reporting BB signed a multi-year extension this offseason. Last year had me thinking, "Bill deserves the biggest, longest contract in history. His ability to make sound decisions and listen to his scouts is impeccable".

They seem to be focusing on running with RB, not Allen. He's on pace to have his rushing attempt decrease by over 50%.
