You spend your time talking about how Meyers, Jackson and Stevenson aren't that good and put that list together? You a literally dragging down Patriots picks you watch all the time and pumping up players you don't watch and know little about them. No reason to continue after that, you are clearly biased and can't judge things with out an agenda. Thanks for the laugh including a rookie kicker taken top 100. You think the Patriots were better? It's hilarious because the Patriots traded to take a kicker in the 4th round and failed spectacularly. At least they got a guy who can hit field goals. If he cements the position for the next 15 years, who cares that he was taken in the top 100? The Patriots have literally lost a few games because their kicker is awful. Again, JC Jackson was 6 years ago to begin with and was 26th in receptions allowed in his final year. This is the same as the Mac Jones argument over his rookie year. Good for a rookie. Mediocre for a NFL starting QB. JC Jackson is a phenomenal UDFA, he wasn't a top flight CB and the Patriots agreed. If we want to push out to 2018, that's fine, but the Bills got Josh Allen in that draft. I'm not even looking at who's better, it's what you think a good draft pick is for one team, while trashing on Patriots picks lol. 26th in receptions allowed and you think that's a negative? He allowed a completion percentage and QBR below 50 that year! They matched him up against the other teams best players and he was brilliant. The fact that you keep trying to down play that, while hyping other teams players is laughable. Don't take my word, he was voted to the all pro team that year! You aren't judging the talent equally and fair. No one said Bill was the best, it's pushback from the crowd saying he sucks. If you understand the draft, a kicker taken top 100 will never be a great pick. Patriots had a lot of picks, I wouldn't have made it, but there's a reason most people wait four years to truly grade a draft. Last game everyone on the kicker missing it, like the other teams kicker. Issue with the balls for both teams. We'll see what happens, but let's be clear neither guy should be on a list given the way you went after Meyers, Jackson and Stevenson. It's like you think Moody is more impactful than those 3. How many teams have 3 stud offensive weapons? It was a figure of speech. They need weapons. That's why Brady left and they have gotten even worse in talent since then. I don't think so, I'd say if fully healthy this teams weapons are way better than 2019, you just don't have a QB that can get the value out of them. I do agree they need a true #1 weapon, not multiples. |

Given the performance, do you think he was worth the contract and that Bill made a mistake letting him go? Again, we're talking about a player who is out of the scope. Is it worse to hit on a kicker in the 3rd round or to trade up and miss entirely on the position in the 4th? You're making it like it's something so absurd when the Patriots traded away capital to move up 1 round below when Moody was taken and missed entirely on the position. Kickers are important. Adam Vinatieri would be worth a 1st rounder in my book given that his foot was the difference between a couple of rings. Moody has been very good for the 49ers and is something they won't need to worry about for the next 15-20 years. Who do you think has impacted the Patriots season more, Mapu or Ryland? By the way, Moody was taken at 99. Ryland was taken at 112. A difference of 13 spots. |

They should have just spent a few $mm and signed a kicker instead of screwing around with drafting one (again). Ryland is getting 1.1 this year. The most expensive kicker in the game is only getting 6 - and he is arguably the greatest kicker ever. So the savings are not huge.
