Was hoping to see Haliburton tonight. Let’s see if the starters can blow em out in the first part of the third and get a break.

Derrick White defensive rotations are putting tears in my eyes.
Jaylen Brown is playing decisive basketball.
Jrue Holliday just ordered Tatum to set a screen on the wing for White. He quickly obeyed the order, freeing White for a relatively easy basket against a trailing Obi Toppin.
This is the best. Please don’t stop.

38 point lead after 3. Potential to be an insanely dominant team - as we are already seeing.
And Sam Hauser, welcome to the 2023-24 season!

How Hauser and Pritchard in double figures. This is a smack down.

I like two dirty wins with bad habits ending sooner. But I really want to see a 140 pt murdering where everyone is going at the same time. Now we are cooking! We can murder, just as I hoped. Best news is all the rest the key six have gotten the past 2 games. Al only played 11 min tonight! Save those bullets!

“Early on, the Celtics offense has transformed from one of the NBA’s most post-up-averse attacks into one of the most post-up reliant. Through a 4-0 start, they have used nearly seven more post-up possessions per game than they did last season, including possessions that end with passes out of the post. They entered Wednesday night with the third-most such possessions per game in the NBA (11.0), according to Synergy Sports. That put Boston ahead of Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers by one post-up chance per game and not far behind the league’s most post-up-heavy offense in Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets.” theathletic.com/5023152/2023/11/02/celtics-win-pacers-post-play-jrue-holiday/

They need to give the winner of the in-season tourney an extra draft pick or something. The players get a cash prize which is cool but they need something to make the fans care about it

The players get a cash prize which is cool but they need something to make the fans care about it Still know so very little about the in-season tournament as they are doing a terrible job promoting it. I do know the league gave the teams choices to redecorate their own homecourts if the leagues agrees with them, so most teams' courts will look the same with different color schemes. AKA teams didn't really have a choice. A true microcosm of society if there ever was one but I digress or rather the opposite of that. I may well be ahead of myself but the purpose of mission would be well captured by a theme or song alla Gino dancing on the screen the last time Celtic nation raised the goblet high or maybe more akin to the Bulls playing Sirius via the Alan Parson's project before games? Perhaps Dr. Dre Xxplosive Instrumental? What say ye?

I know Haliburton on the pacers suggested the tourney winner should get an automatic playoff bid, I kinda like that. They’d just have to figure out what to do with that team after that because how are they gonna act the rest of the year if they know they have a spot locked up?
They need something to get the fans engaged in it

Love what they’re doing with the inside-out game. Mazzulla knew what he was talking about when he said they had to find more sustainable ways of winning. This is it right here ^

It also speaks to their spacing. Their top eight rotation players are above-average or better three point shooters. It’s a lot easier to post up when the floor is spread and they have no one to leave to double team.

No D White tonight. Him and his wife are expecting their second child so he didn’t make the road trip.

It’s bitter sweet seeing Grant be so good in Dallas. I love the guy and always had confidence in him continuing to get better. I’m happy he’s in a starting role and getting a lot of minutes. It hurts losing him but he wouldn’t have had the same opportunity here. It’s tough to lose him tho as he’d be great to have here long term as Al ages out.
