Mills to the Giants 1yr up to 5MM
Not disappointed to see him go. He seemed like a good guy but he was not good in coverage.
Pats could still use a real FS

Everyone realized the Patriots haven’t done anything to get better other than Brissett maybe… right?
Uches contract is great because it’s one year and short money for a serviceable situational pass rusher

Thanks for the good work, often unnoticed, LG.

They re-signed some of their guys, brought in a fringe QB to replace their terrible one and got a mediocre lineman and RB who will likely be replacing Zeke. Uche is on a prove it deal for a reason. Mills, Parker and Gesicki I'm glad are gone. Could care less about Reagor. Their best moves have been signing Onwenu and Henry, who were already here. Hopefully Dugger signs (likely).

I’m just happy they retained him

I’m just happy they retained him Ok sure, he’s clearly better than the nothings we had BUT he got 1 year 8m because he’s not a good starting level QB in the NFL. So maybe we can try and sit here and say, “well they would have won a bunch more games with just a competent QB”… fine, I buy that, BUT we still had Belichick game planning and coaching on the sidelines and he was still a difference maker regardless of how annoyed we got with him for personnel moves. Steve B was also calling the plays on defense and he’s gone so expecting the D to be the same without Bills brain on the sidelines making adjustments is foolish. Could it happen? Sure, but expecting it is another story. It’s not like it’s a defense full of studs, it wasn’t/isn’t. Coaching made it really good. It’s still a long ways to go but right now, this team is worse than last years team on paper. Games aren’t played on paper but that’s all we got so far.

Two defensive difference-makers were lost in Week 4 & an all-pro PR and nickel DB & parttime offensive weapon in Week 2 -- I expect they'll all contribute nicely in 2024.
That's three pretty nice dudes to add to the mix.

In terms of personnel, they are worse today than they were at the end of last season.

Feels like Ridley is gonna be a jaguar at 4:01 tomorrow (conditional pick Jacksonville sends to ATL goes from a 2nd to a 3rd)
Trade options remain Higgins, Keenan Allen, and perhaps Aiyuk

High cost and because San Fran is going to have tough decisions to make soon as guys need to get paid and they’ve already spent big on Deebo.

Looks like Uche turned down a 2/15 with $11 mill guaranteed to stay here Thats nuts. He walked away from a guaranteed 8MM. He could get hurt tomorrow and never play again. Its not like 100MM vs 110MM. His agent needs to be fired. But I will root hard for him.
