Watson’s been their best player imo. Impacting the game with his hustle, being aggressive with his shot for the first time which I like to see. Ball seems to find him. Kinda reminds me of Grant a little bit

Jordan Walsh definitely needs more time. Ain’t ready. He's barely 20 years old -- what should he be ready for, other than more development?

I think Sheierman is going to need some G-league seasoning also. (maybe not the whole year) Queta and Springer look like the guys from Summer league that can help the team in the 1st half of next season if some of the starters need rest.

People were hopeful he could fill the Brissett role, he’s not close to that. That’s all. Not totally unexpected but he’s been one of the worst players on the court imo- I did expect better than that. Some defensive flashes but zero offensive instincts

Scheierman just needs to get his 3 to start falling, I’m not too concerned about him and think he can probably contribute a little next year. Agreed on Queta and Springer, their 2 best when on the court (which is to be expected at this point in their careers)

The air time that lip read comments Jaylen Brown supposedly said about Bronny James in a private conversation with his girlfriend while watching the game are insane. It pretty much highlights the state of sports media.

Why is that such news? How is he basically any different than Walsh, who also got a four year contract. Both young players that aren't ready that show potential to be really good on D. Heck at least with James he did it to play with his father. Guys like James, Walsh, Davison and dozens each draft should stay in College and I thought NIL money would help with that. Instead it's more like seniors are just playing an extra year instead and lots of transfers.

Walsh now 0-22 from 3 in summer league....And that was what he was working on...From what I've read his reputed defense needs work as well.
Without Queta we look under talented in the league.

Without Queta we look under talented in the league. This is not a league. It's random friendly games.

Summer league mostly tells me who won’t make it as opposed to who will make it

When you have one open roster spot and no playing time available, you are going to get the bottom of the barrel for talent. If you are able to attract the best players to your summer league team, it’s because your regular team either sucks or is shallow with talent.

Consider the Celtics have made one first round pick under Stevens I say the summer league teams talent is rather good. Then again we can't find playing time for Springer and Queta. Scheierman has looked about what you've have hoped for.
Jordan Walsh is the big disappointment, kinda crushing any hope you might have had of him replacing Brissett minutes and adding 3 point shooting. Then again he was just like Davison, crazy raw and much more of the what he can be 4 years down the line type pick.
I'm just glad Stevens switched from crazy raw freshman to 5th year seniors draft picks. It's almost impossible to find playing time for very young crazy raw players.

Walsh seems the biggest let down from expectations and hopes to this point. Please incorporate Queta next year!!

I assume since the option was exercised it’s a true extension so they have him for 5 more seasons. Honestly, it’s a good extension for Sam based on contracts given out this year. I think it’s a good extension for the team too assuming he continues to progress his overall game. If he had a down year, based on some of these deals this offseason; he may have been looking at a lot less. See Trent’s vent minimum deal.

But guessing it's smart of him to take the money that's there.

It's a good fair deal for both sides. If reports are right, he's going to cost about $80 million in two years when repeater tax kicks in.
I still don't understand how this is possible, we couldn't give White more because of the 140% rule. White gets less than Holiday because of that. Yet we can basically just pay Hauser whatever he wants?

Trent turned down an extension at $ 15 million, wanting $25 million a year, they moved on. Quickley just got 32.5 million a year. The Duncan Robinson contract. If he wanted to gamble he could have potentially gotten a much bigger deal. He took like the low end of the market.
I guess they are making it clear that the new owner will pay a crazy amount to buy the team and a crazy amount to pay the tax. Good for us fans if they find that person.

Huge! I wasn’t a big Hauser fan but he has done nothing but keep improving. Dude’s lethal and a quality defender. Big guy to our core.

This is a fine deal for Hauser. The middle class got the shaft with the apron at play this off-season.
