I mean more in terms of career productivity in the MLB Given how much of a superior prospect Margot was, I think this is a stretch to assume. Margot's career value probably closer to his ceiling (~90th percentile outcome) - even that may be a stretch. Margot reached 3rd on this site and was 4th for a full year: soxprospects.com/players/margot-manuel.htm

My point was or question really is Paulino’s optimistic outcome at the MLB something like Margot’s as in a replacement level player worth maybe a full 1 WAR season or two mixed in I’m not comparing them as prospects at all

Can the Sox get something for McGuire after the deadline? Feels like he has to have some sort of value, albeit not much

Hard Hard Hard NO to Wong playing 2B. Hard NO. We are in a pennant race here Alex. This isn’t spring training. He probably hasn’t touched an infielders glove in 5-6 months. Not fair to the pitchers who are barely staying afloat. Not the time or place for this.

Nonsense, I’m sure some club out there would get a rise out of a dollar store deal. It shouldn’t be that hard.

Is this the incident where QUantrill came across as a douchebag and all of McGuire's teammates came to his defense and there were a bunch of quotes about what a good teammate he was?

Purely anecdotal but I can tell you as someone who lives outside of the Boston sphere, McGuire has been the butt of the joke in all of my circles. Your mileage may vary. That’s not to say a team wouldn’t sign him because of it, though.

That’s not to say a team wouldn’t sign him because of it, though. The infamous parking lot incident was over four years ago and he has been employed in MLB ever since. He will likely continue to get made fun of for it by fans and the occasional opponent with Cal Quantrill levels of class, but that has nothing to do with his game and also hasn't impacted his ability to bond with his teammates.
