Gardner is public enemy #1, personified, for me. Just the mere sight of him is irritating as all heck. Voit is taking over that. I've been that way about Gardner since his first year. Carries himself like he's a stud player. I always said he was a 4th OF at best(on a GREAT team) and MOST wouldn't even know who he was if he played for about 26 other teams. Voit is right there too. He's a Douc_ _ Bogey !

Calls that on JBJ but he's missed pitches right over the plate, for both teams, all night.

Can't remember the last time Barnes threw under 10 pitches to get 3 outs.
Good job !

Instead of being out of the inning TWICE, the Sox are down 2-1.

Judge knows he's out. He was walking to the dugout.

I guess it's been awhile and Devers didn't know where 2nd base is?

I would too, but he still says the Cubs would've won the WS without Chapman. Did't Chappy blow a lead in game 6 or something? I think it was Game 7.

A friend of mine who is a Cubs fan was pissed when they traded Torres for that reason. Cubs did win a WS but my friend said before and still says now, that the Cubs should've never traded Torres for a one inning relief pitcher rental. Hell, I'd trade Moncada and Kopech for a ring even if it wasn't the first recent ring. I would too, but he still says the Cubs would've won the WS without Chapman.

ill never forgive Theo for giving the MFY Torres for a rental. Hard pill to swallow, but he got a ring that year. Literally the only justification he could get for that return and he got it. Man, they got it all wrong. Benny saw the Ump signal no catch and then he knew he had to run. Force at 2nd for one out & then the tag on Benny for the other out. Run scored.

Still, with all of this sh*t going on, we get to watch baseball.

Yeah, that's what I read too. I thought I read if their was NO season at all that the players would still get Service Time? If so, how can the players get Service Time but yet the CBT doesn't reset? Makes no sense to me. Because the Owners agreed to give players service time in exchange for not having to pay out more than the amounts they paid out in March if the season didn't happen. Completely separate issues. Oaky, Thanks for that info.

One question, if season is canceled now, will the CBT of Sox be reset? No. I believe it was mentioned in another thread but the Sox need the season to get past 8/31 in order for the CBT to reset. Not off to a great start on that front Yeah, that's what I read too. I thought I read if their was NO season at all that the players would still get Service Time? So these soft tossers like Ryan Weber make me nervous. Wakefield made me feel the same way. It’s like I am waiting for the next pitch to just get crushed. I have only seen Weber throw one time in the start he made recently against the Blue Jays. He pitched well then so I am hoping that carries over. Man we could use a Wakefield, the guy would be our #2 right now. Sure could even at age 53 and soon to be 54.
