Brown showing Tatum how to play the rover role. Go for the goddamn block. Muscle them out of the business. KILL THEM ALL!

We survived the run. Whew. As the driver of the MAN UP BUS, it’s my duty to inform you all that it wasn’t the run that bothered me, it was the shitty defense. Back to playing defense, back to smashing them.

Dallas getting MANY easy shots right now after a pristine defensive first half. I don’t like where this is going.

Is Tatum guarding Casper the Ghost by the rim?

Team high +21 for Tatum. He has been excellent outside of that final minute, and one of his egregious 3s wasn’t his fault (why did Brown dribble that out until there was 6 seconds left my God). I get the theory. It's about killing time rather than scoring points when you're up by 24 (I think that's where they were) before the half. I'd rather have a better play lined up though. I can see that! I like showmanship, so honestly I’d rather have The Porzingod launching a logo 3 after holding it for 20 seconds. Low percentage asf, but that would have ended the series right there.

Great half, pretty bad last minute there. Can’t nitpick too much, but Tatum needs to be better I do appreciate Tatum is doing everything else. Leads in rebounding, but this playoffs he's been less than stellar shooting the ball. If he can be what he was against the Pacers the last couple of games, Mavs might not win 1. Team high +21 for Tatum. He has been excellent outside of that final minute, and one of his egregious 3s wasn’t his fault (why did Brown dribble that out until there was 6 seconds left my God).

The first really bad offensive possession happened with like a minute to go, there’s no reason for Brown to dribble out the clock like that and pass it to a Tatum chuckle. Dallas ended the half in kind of a run.
Start strong in the 3rd, push this sh*t to 30 and then 4th quarter is Kornet Time.

Love that Joe called a timeout after another sloppy turnover. Last year that wouldn’t have happened up 25. Yeah, Tatum got carried away. Saw a Lebron clip on Twitter where he says Joe Mazz doesn’t get angry over anything other than the team not playing the right way. Runs happen, softly tossing a ball up to be stolen by goddamn Maxi Kleber shouldn’t.

Dallas finally took their first really open, really high percentage shot in that PJ Washington 3. And he bricked. This defense is insane right now.

How about The Porzingod blocking Kyrie, the entire Garden had an orgasm.

Current Celtics team is like a final boss that gets bullsh*t in the second phase. If everyone stays healthy then I’m sorry and I really try to not get carried away and stay respectful, but this isn’t close.

I like bringing Porzingis off the bench. I'm so sick and tired of people talking crap about Celtics, yet zero talk of Leonard getting injured. Time to shut up these crazy haters! Play Al for 28 minutes and The Porzingod for 20. No need for double bigs lineup in the first game. Don’t double Luka. Send Kyrie to Jrue hell. Let’s f*cking do this!

Uhhh… the Blue Jays started Vladdy Jr at 3B yesterday? (His first start there since 2019.) Their GM stated he will continue to get some light playing time there, as they try to jump-start their offense. Bear in mind the Jays let Matt Chapman go in free agency, and then signed Isaiah Kiner-Falefa and Justin Turner in the off-season. Points for creativity I guess 😬 Not to mention the GM has rebuffed any trade talks in regards to Vladdy and Bichette. Not saying they should pull the plug just yet but those guys do only have 1.5 years left until FA and their value in terms of trade will continue to lessen. They seem like a team that are in between competing and rebuilding that aren't sure what to do right now. To be fair, it didn’t help them that neither Vladdy or Bichette turned out to be bonafide stars. They’re aight, but not cornerstones IMO.

Anyone else here uncomfortable with the prospect of Irving as an opponent in the next round? By all rights we should kill Dallas as they can't match us defensively and hopefully (fingers crossed) Kristaps can take some minutes and take some of the load off of Horford who has been a MACHINE despite his age. I just want to demoralize that flat earther if it does come to that. Especially because you know he's going to bring shenanighans into the Garden to try and get under everyone's skin. Kyrie is just another former Celtics player for me. Yeah he was sh*tty here and things ended up poorly, but I moved on to the point of indifference. I want the Celtics to beat him just like I want them to beat anyone else. It might be a bit sweeter, but I don’t feel like there’s a point to be made. Opponents, not enemies. Like Sun Tzu once said “big tits with no ass will fill your hand. Big ass with no tits will fill your heart”.

Bortles never had crazy numbers and the one guy who puzzles me is Mariota. That one looked AWESOME in college, not sure how predictable it was that he'd bust. But the other busts you could all see coming. Jayden Daniels also had just 1 (ONE) season of being really good and Richardson really wasn't ever very good at all. I still have faith in Bryce Young, although size is a real concern there.

Mason Miller is obviously filthy but at the end of the day he’s a closer for one of the leagues worst teams, he’s not nearly as valuable as Abreu has been This I have to approach from a SPECTACLE point of view. Abreu is a really good player on a pedestrian team and Miller is a great player on a bad team. So yeah, rationally Abreu is the leader here, but Miller is bananas. You stop what you're doing to watch him. He's striking out damn near 2 dudes per inning. He has a 0.09 FIP. He's a rockstar in a game that's growing more and more boring, you need to reward the showmen.

I’ve seen people saying that Indiana could be 3-1 in the series right now. People hate the Celtics and they don’t realize how scary that statement is. Boston had a record number of huge blowouts in the regular season and now they have shown they will NOT buckle under pressure? Boston made insane winning plays on each of these games. To get one game like that could be luck, two is talent and three is just being diabolic. They can pulverize you and if they don’t, they crawl back and kill you anyway. The apex predator. Don! Love the positive vibes. Hell you just might be driving the bus for manning up. RIP Bill Walton, Go Celtics. My friend, this comment was damn near almost as awesome as the Finals trip. THERE ARE NO BREAKS ON THIS BUS BABY, IT’S ALL FULL THROTTLE!

That defense they played for the last 4 minutes was insane. Indiana went scoreless for 3:33 minutes because there was no space. This was as good as it ever got under Ime when they played LEGENDARY defense, maybe even better.
I wasn’t a huge fan of how they played offense on this one, too many f*ckball possessions. But the mental fortitude oh my God. 2022 Finals, got within one game and one Tatum ankle away from the Finals in 2023, Finals again. Get The Porzingod ready and let’s chip!
