Kyrie does look different, he has grown a lot since he was here. I don’t hate him at all. I’d be no different than Brad Wanamaker chipping over us. I hate him and I wish him the worst in life I don’t hate him, I want to see Jrue and White make his life as miserable as possible as we chip over him.

Don’t double Luka, send Kyrie to Jrue hell, have The Porzingod launching 3s from the goddamn logo to pull their bigs away and have Tatum or Brown attack Luka. Let’s chip.

While a great come back win, I'm still worried that they try and flip switches in the ECF. Great teams do that in the regular season, not in the playoffs. First time in this series the Celtics weren't playing hard. 10 rebounds first half, 26 in the 2nd half. It doesn't matter against these Pacers, whatever team reaches finals will be better. It wasn't just one player either. This team will never reach its full potential until they actually play 100% for 48 minutes every playoff game. I'm amazed all these years latter, this is still an issue. I don't think this is what happened, they just couldn't find a good way to defend the Pacers without Haliburton. Like I said, so much of Indiana's gameplan change without Haliburton and they still have so many good scorers, it's hard to plan accordingly. Joe adjusted midway through the 3rd and the team was fully loaded to take the game. It may have looked like they were playing lazy, but Indiana was just playing out of their damn minds. Then eventually the Pacers ran out of gas. Playing that hard early on will always punish you later in the game. The Celtics don't have good depth without The Porzingod to say the least, so you don't want to go full Thibs and work everyone to death. Playing 100% for 48 minutes is unrealistic, you have to pace yourself.

Yeah, let’s talk about the foul on Jrue. That’s either no foul or that’s a clear path foul. There’s literally no middle ground here.

Oh my God, what a beautiful play Indiana ran on the final shot.
But F*CK INDIANA. F*ck Rick Carlisle and his stupid no timeout call. And thank f*cking God we have Jrue. I have no idea how we won this. Tatum balled so hard man. I’m just speechless.

You have a chance to tie in that spot and you need to take it. It may not come back again.

Haliburton is the straw that stirs the drink. Without his pick and roll prowess, there’s not much shot creation on this Indiana team. The Celtics still need to take the game seriously but no doubt that this is a much worse Pacers team. He was getting abused on defense, just saying this isn't a Donovan Mitchell situation.

Haliburton out for tonight This isn’t that huge of an advantage as it may seem. Attacking Haliburton was key to our gameplan and McConnell is a better defender. Plus, it’s just harder to scout a team when their leading man is out. They need to play focused and hard like they did in Game 2 and we got this.

I think this discussion is pointless. If The Porzingod is back and healthy the Celtics are just insane and damn near impossible to guard. No weak link in that lineup.

Luka Doncic is a goddamn psychopath. Hits the game winner and screams at everyone’s face. On the road too. Dude is pure malice. Edwards is not the next MJ after all. It’s a goofy white dude from Europe.

Tyler O’Neill in May: “70 AB - 2 HR - 5 RBI - 34 K .157/.253/.314/.567. Striking out 48.6% of his AB’s” - BostonSports Info Let’s say for the sake of argument this isn’t a concussion thing - what is off here? His mechanics? Trying too hard to hit bombs and a bad approach? Wonder where this ranks for worst months of his career He’s just not a very good player.

The Celtic’s 5th best player is better than every other remaining team’s second best player, save for maybe Kyrie Irving who typically gives it back on defense. That’s not true at all. Well, it is true for the Mavs and the Pacers, but it’s not true for the Wolves. KAT is a very good player and McDaniels and Gobert are insane defensive players to a much higher degree than White and Jrue. The Celtics are the best team and they have been the best team in the NBA the whole season, but let’s not get nuts here.

We can meet halfway. Let Maye start but have Bazooka Joe ready to throw a random Hail Mary in a given down from anywhere in the field at least once in every drive. Why? He completed only 38.6% of his passes 10 yards or more last year in College. Drake Maye also has a cannon and it's much more accurate. I can't really explain. Showmanship, I guess?

What a difference maker Jrue has been so far this playoffs. Absolutely elite on both ends and gives the team exactly what they need. My man umass and I shared a concern about Jrue in the playoffs, because he wasn’t much to write home about in recent seasons with the Bucks. He’s proving us wrong, he’s balling out of his mind against Indiana. Good shooting, forcing the issue inside and of course his insane defense. He’s been what my heart tells me Marcus Smart was (Smart is my favorite player ever, strongly biased here lol).

Don't know what Carlisle was thinking, no Siakam and starters, waving the white flag with 4 plus minutes left and a 13-point deficit? I don't get it. Cutting his losses with Haliburton out I suppose Got to keep his guys fresh for Cancun!

player performances are volatile from half to half and game to game. A 30 ppg scorer isn’t going to score 15 points every single half. That’s why it’s generally good to look at somebody’s averages for the year or at least the playoffs instead of picking apart a small segment of subpar basketball. Seems crazy I know, but it does lead you to conclusions that are not idiotic. I thought Tatum was bad because he played shit defense, the offense comes and goes but Tatum is a fantastic defender. When he’s not having any impact on that end, you know he’s having a bad game. He was fantastic in the second half. I see some potential for him as a small ball 5 against the Pacers.

Bro, Tatum did something in the last round that only LEBRON JAMES did before since the 70s, he led the team in damn near everything. Hate less.
