Bad throw by Pedey, had to lead Lester there.

Welp, no perfect game today. That's just fine. They don't need to be deciding whether to keep him in after he's thrown 115-120 pitches.

Kind of a microcosm of the year...finally get the wind behind our back and the wind shifts with some pretty bad luck (defensive positioning). Nice job by Lester keeping it tied.

Only 1 reliever warming up for the White Sox? Don't they want to use 3 or 4 of them very soon?

I would have thought the number of pitches Ross saw would knock out Sale, but the guy is staying in at 118. Make them pay, please!

Send Nava down to AAA so he can learn how to hit LH against LHP.

Roberts just sucks.

Roberts went down on 7 pitches. Nava went down on 1 pitch. I know what I prefer.

Send Nava down to AAA so he can learn how to hit LH against LHP. The more he struggles, the more likely we keep bradley up, right?

So what I come away with from this series is that Tyler Flowers is a better hitting catcher than Buster Posey and Yadier Molina.

Goddamnit Lester, just get out of the way when the ball comes in your direction.

Also, this would be an excellent time to put Koji in the game. But nooo, Lester has got to beat the other pitcher, can't take him out before he's pitched 128 pitches.

RS leading AL in dp's (hit into). Some standout pitching by Lester but it's time to grab some bench with a no decision.

Yeah, with the bullpen exhausted in a tie game, great time to bring in the closer when the starting pitcher has 105 pitches and looks incredible tonight.

Gordon Edes @gordonedes More from ESPN Stats and Info: Bogie HR is longest HR at Cell this season, and one foot longer than Bogie blast at Yankee Stadium last yr NESN broadcast mentioned the stadium announced it at 424', do you know if that's what ESPN S&I had? I thought I remembered his HR at Yankee Stadium was 440'+ When they said 424' it felt like it was longer. Add: your next posts average answers my question.

Yeah, with the bullpen exhausted in a tie game, great time to bring in the closer when the starting pitcher has 105 pitches and looks incredible tonight. Looked incredible for 7 innings but had more baserunners than outs in the 8th. I don't care about "the closer" or whatever, Koji is out best reliever and you'll be hardpressed to find a higher leverage situation than 2 on, 1 out, in the 8th inning of a tie game. Give the lesser relievers clean innings, and those who can handle them the tough ones. And 5 outs should be a good workload for Koji, always seems like such a waste to me when he warms up just to throw 7 pitches.
