I have no real basis for this other than gut feel, but to me Koji seems like someone who could be a possibility to re-sign as a free agent if we do trade him to a contender. Lester might want to spend the entire rest of his life in Boston but Uehara, to me, seems to be on a tour of the US with the plan of eventually returning to Japan, so I could certainly see him being OK with such an arrangement. Guys with families don't want to be away from their families even more than they have to be. I put about a 2% chance of Uehara being on board with this.

I think Uehara is in the same boat if we trade him or not. That boat being he is going to take the best contract available to him. That includes factors like chance to win, location, so on.

Huston Street was able to get a borderline Top-100 player in Taylor Lindsey. Street has a fairly affordable team option for 2015 ($7 million), but I still think it's a pretty fair indication of what Uehara's market might be like.

Law tweeted he wouldn't have traded Rondon (SS in A+) who wasn't even the top two pieces, for him straight up.

I can't believe how much the Angels gave up for Street. If we can get those kind of packages as sellers...yes please.

They really didn't give up much. Lindsey would be like 5th in the Sox system, and the other guys wouldn't be top-15.

Complete speculation at this point, but Pittsburgh would make a perfect trade partner with us, and have prospects/young players that we should be interested in. They need a platoon partner at short, their platoon at first has not given them the production they've been looking for and they've been rumored to be looking for help in the bullpen, for both a righty and a lefty. They're currently scouting pitchers such as AJ Burnett, Ian Kennedy and Cliff Lee, suggesting they're looking into the starting pitching market, and they've been rumored to be looking into a right-handed outfield bat. We have players fitting every one of those holes for them: Drew, Napoli, Miller, Uehara, Peavy, Lackey, Lester, Gomes, Victorino... The question is, could (and would) Cherington and Co put together a monster package to pry one of Pittsburgh's young studs away from them? (Cole, Polanco) Or would it be worth it to take back a package of prospects? (Taillon, Glasnow, Meadows) The Pirates could be one of the best team to send Lester to (if we do indeed trade him), considering most other teams would want to sign him long-term, that's typically not something the Pirates do with aging players. Therefore, if we were to trade Lester this season, we should have the opportunity to sign him back in the offseason.
Thoughts?

There is some discussion of PIT back about 20 posts ago. I agree with your assessment of PIT as a trade partner. In fact, Peavy has (reportedly) been discussed. As noted earler, monster trades where we would trade five nickels for a quarter don't happen.

True, however I don't think I would consider Lackey, and especially Lester, as nickels, even if Lester would only be a rental. One of those two would obviously be a centerpiece to the deal. Plus, for a small market team, Lackey should be very attractive considering he's under contract for the minimum next year, whether he demands more or not is another question.
