That "baseline" is below sea-level. Didn't even need to bother with the byline on that story. That was self-evident.

Apparently it was during a bunting drill. Wow it's all I can say right now.

Wow. Not a good start to the season with all these injuries piling up. You have to hope no other major players go down. Jays have to be devastated. Probably will have to rely on Norris more than they had hoped.
Best to Stroman during recovery. He was fun to watch, even when tearing up the Red Sox.

Yikes. Their best hopes were relying on him to become an ace this year.

I think it was fielding bunts, not while practicing bunting.

Man, I loved watching that kid pitch, he is just so good. Tough break for the Jays. I thought he was their best pitcher last year.

Is Jake Locker still under contract with the Angels? Or if he decides to try baseball would he become a free agent?

Ouch, I hate seeing injuries like that, especially to the young exciting players in the game.
But that certainly helps our chances in the East.

The Angels are so weird. They draft a dude twice even though he's obviously a football player first, pay him to play football, and when he decides to give up football and rumors come down that he might play baseball and all the team would have to do would be assign him to the Pioneer League or whatever they are actively, aggressively uninterested. Like, they didn't even throw up a passive-aggressive "the Angels have not yet even discussed Jake Locker returning to baseball" or something like that. They drafted Locker, paid him even though they knew he was playing a different sport, and then were all "hahahaha why would we want that guy?"
