And yet another example of why we should more or less ignore his agent now that he's in the U.S. Espinoza - 4-3-0-0-1-1 Steen - 4-0-0-0-1-3 Pimentel - 1-2-0-0-0-1 Pitch Steen Pitch indeed. It's kinda funny, like when the Chinese government quotes The Onion to make some disparaging remark about the US ... but I'm not bothered by it. I see it less as a negotiating tactic and more the expressions of pure joy from a dude who must feel like he died and went to sports agent heaven. "OHMYGOD DID YOU SEE WHAT MY GUY JUST DID?!?! I SIGNED HIM!!!!!" It's going to be funny when Espinoza ditches him for Boras in two years.

What a great debut for Espinoza, we are stocked with great pitching prospects!

Relatively Baseball before one of Boras's snakes that follow budding stars around the game convinces Betts to switch and there is -0- hope of any LT, cost controlled deal.. Much like the team will be looking at shortly with Bogaerts.

Brian Johnson making his case for pitching in Boston Should take Kellys spot in the rotation, why wait? This is another lost season.

If hes gonna take Kelly's spot then they are probably gonna want to pull him soon.

If hes gonna take Kelly's spot then they are probably gonna want to pull him soon. He's definitely not pitching Sunday in Kelly's spot at this point. Either Kelly gets one more start or they spot start Wright.

Problem with Wright is he hasn't been down 10 days (I do have that rule, right, no?) Unless they put someone on the DL (Swihart?).
EDIT: Agree it won't be Johnson in Kelly's next turn, though. Not at this point.

Brian Johnson 6.0 1 0 0 0 6 Darn folks....call him up! 73 pitches and 59 strikes. 1 single and NO walks! Of course the same is being done to their offense, with Bradley having the only hit.
Does anyone know what they feed those kids in Lowell? 10 runs already after 4 innings. Send that "feed" to Fenway!

@timbritton: Brian Johnson collides with a runner as he attempts to cover 1B, and he's coming out of the game. Leaving under his own power.

THAT does not look like a DSL line.
