Well I could understand because he's probably a serious injury away from retirement, which is something people are always worried about when he plays the field as is. Idk why he has to say this to the media though.

Oh, I don't know about that... How about Kelly? Napoli? and Ortiz?? Breslow??? Breslow ... is performing exactly the way I expected him to perform.

Everyone is a serious injury away from retirement, Ortiz should realize he's also probably 2-3 HR away from being in the bench. Love the guy, but come on, the team is at last on a good run and spirits are up. Save your whinning about having to prepare as anybody else would have to do your job or about not getting respected or whatever for later.

Went to MLB.com for the game and the lead on the carousel was about Bogaerts ... unfortunately, it had a picture of Mookie Betts attached to it. #norespect

Take it up with your team, not with the media. Just lack of accountability and leadership there.

We have benefitted from bad defense so much this year, it seems.

Or 2 or 3 more from saying, "Playing first base is good for my offense!" Nice oppo jack, Papi.

Porcello has not just been bad, but like, worst in the league bad since about the quarter mark of the season.
And Masterson warming in the bullpen. Absolute nightmare.
