Porcello's stuff is not good. His command is shaky.

Porcello just can't control himself, he has to give it back.

Getting pretty lucky here, both the pitching and hitting I'm blaming you.

That's a terrible, terrible route by Betts and 100% on him.

Hanigan: The Porcello Whisperer, was a fun narrative while it lasted.

That's a terrible, terrible route by Betts and 100% on him. Agreed. Can't lie, I think DRS totally overrates his D.

It's funny, when something bad happens, you know there's going to be a dozen posts complaining about it. When something good happens... silence. I guess that's the fatalistic Red Sox fan mindset in a nutshell.

One might even say that's the essence of fandom.

People cheered the HR. People cheer when something good happens, but just feel relief when something bad didn't happen

...or sports fans in general. I dunno, man. Fans generally like to cheer when their team does well. One might even say that's the essence of fandom. And yet… That's a terrible, terrible route by Betts and 100% on him. Although I think most/many of us "cheered" here during the rally capped off by Papi's HR. Hey, we're Red Sox fans - we expect the good to blow up somehow. Long years of conditioning, I guess.

I haven't been watching and just looked at the score online and I was like, 'hey were up 4-2, Porcello is actually having a not so terrible game.' Then i looked at the box score and saw 9 base runners in less than 5 innings.

6 innings / 95 pitches.....we are at the Rubicon here. I think Farrell is going to send him out for the 7th.
