Some people have used this as a punchline since are system is highly rated every year yet we have finished in last 3 out of 4 years. Also the narative locally is that we have overrated our prospects and havin't done a good enough job trading our overrated prospects before they lose value.

Update from Kiley, does top 26 prospects, new members to top 200, and international/draft signings. Top 26 Moncada #6 FV 65 Margot #19 FV 60 Devers #20 FV 60 Guerra and Espinoza are new top top 200, not ranked specifically but given a 50 FV Benintendi 6th from international/draft, with 50 FV www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-post-trade-deadline-prospect-update/The graduates list might suggest Kiley thinks we were too aggressive with Swihart and E-Rod, giving them current grads of 45, future of 60

Boston Red Sox Top 20 2015 PRE-SEASON prospects in review By John Sickels on Aug 19, 2015 www.minorleagueball.com/2015/8/19/9175263/boston-red-sox-top-20-2015-pre-season-prospects-in-review"Dombrowski inherits an organization with a chaotic and snake-bit major league roster but with a robust farm system. ..., in a broader view there is a lot of material for Dombrowski to work with. ... Although Dombrowski has a reputation as a prospect-trader, that was part of a very specific strategy in Detroit that isn’t likely to be fully applicable in Boston. Dombrowski likes to sell high on prospects but has also shown he can identify young players who are worth sticking with. Sure, there will be some trades, but I don’t think Red Sox fans should worry that the farm system will be gutted. Dombrowski’s task is to improve the short-term major league roster without harming the long-term viability of the organization. You don’t do that by messing with the things that aren’t broken. The farm system isn’t broken and that's part of what makes this a dream job for Dombrowski."
