Already marked my calendar: April 26-28, 2016, Salem Red Sox @ Frederick Keys. Benintendi, Moncada, Devers, probably Kopech, Longhi, maybe Chavis, Ysla ... woo-hoo! You as pissed as me that ALL of the games at Potomac next year are weekdays? They literally couldn't throw me ONE weekend series?

You as pissed as me that ALL of the games at Potomac next year are weekdays? Probably not! I prefer going to Frederick, a little closer to me and a nicer place to see the game. And since they are at Potomac during the week, they've got two weekends in Frederick. So ... yay, my needs!

Great podcast, gentlemen. Alex is always very interesting and thorough. Also appreciated the podcast as usual. Really interesting discussion with Alex. Surprisingly, injuries and injury risk seemed to come up a lot in the podcast. Very important aspect of development, and something that has been used in cases against players like Jed Lowrie, Sean Coyle, Bryce Brentz, but not as much with top prospects (e.g. Manuel Margot, Brian Johnson, Christian Vazquez). Perhaps that's an apples and oranges comparison given the frequency with which the former group of players had been injured. Would be interested if teams have a way of quantifying injury risk behind closed doors, for both prospects and MLB players. Anyways, something I hadn't really considered as much as I should have when valuing a player like Margot.

Benintendi is the best player in the system since Pedroia.

You're not getting off that easy. So...yay, our needs!

After that, I suspect some of them (hopefully) will be in Portland by the All Star game (June 21st). Though I don't have a radar gun, the stadium posts the pitch speed on the scoreboard.

I'm really curious, exactly what part of that do you consider awesome ? Honest question, from where I sit, it's just a news filler on what had to be a slow news day. Maayong Pasko everyone. It's still politically correct here.

I think someone from the staff (Jon?) usually goes, but I'll be happy to bring any reports I have. I usually don't get the really good seats that these guys get, so it's harder to see break on the ball and the life on the fastball, but I'll be watching intently, that's for sure.

Just listened to the podcast and wanted to say "well done!" I enjoyed it greatly and your questions were perfect to fill in holes I had. Keep up the great work!

I was assuming it was a person named Alex Sphere that looks similar to our Alex. The car and the saving a few pennies also don't seem to match up. LOL, there weren't any dictionary words or eclectic concepts used either. Happy New Year everyone, 4 hours to 2015 here. They celebrate a bit differently here (The Philippines), people come in and out but there's a big meal at whoever is hosting a party that starts after the midnight festivities. Having plenty on the table at midnight assures prosperity. At midnight, everyone goes out and makes a lot of noise to scare away the evil spirits for the year. Like most Asian countries, New Years is one of the most important holidays, maybe second only to Christmas. ADD MLB Headline: "Left Coast: Kazmir gives LA 5th left-hander". I'm not sure why they want me specifically to know.

They even pronounced his last name correctly, and he spoke with his familiar cadence and voice and smile. And he does't look "similar" but exactly the same.

From 108 stitches.. ON A PERSONAL NOTE: An impersonator believed to be named Alex Sphere went to great lengths to save $5 on gas while driving down the East Coast. CBS Evening News deemed this noteworthy.
