If any of you are holding hostages, Joe Kelly vs. Trevor Bauer seems like a good opportunity to interrogate them You could even force those hostages to watch that paint drying, if you really want to make it tough on them.

This is about as home-grown as you can get with a lineup, which is neat. And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord This is like when someone projects the lineup 4 years in advance, and everyone lashes out at that person for being unrealistic.

“@alexspeier: Swihart won’t catch in the big leagues during this callup. Will platoon in LF w/Young”

So there is absolutely no excuse to not pinch hit for catchers while Swihart is up.
And why isn't anyone complaining about Buchholz yet?

Can't wait for Buchholz to throw the ball into the dugout to score a run...

Nice play by Shaw. Horrible baserunning by the guy on 2nd.

Does JF wait for JBJ to get that hitting streak to 50 games before moving him up in the lineup?

That also makes it 20 straight games with a HR for the Red Sox. That's a club record!

How bad is Clay Buchholz? Probably the worst pitcher in baseball.

Well that was completely self-inflicted by Clay.

This is actually unacceptable. He's not a major league pitcher. Please, please get him off the mound.

Clay has developed a unique ability to give up a homerun exactly when it will hurt worst.

Clay has developed a unique ability to give up a homerun exactly when it will hurt worst. This is true. He's given up 9 homers this season, only 2 solo shots

From the stretch, he is not finishing his pitches and opposing hitters are jumping on it every time. I can't imagine Carl isn't totally frustrated with him.
