Indians win 11 in a row. Do they have any starting pitching? They have what should never have left FRANCONA Thanks Larry, tom, john You know what makes me furious? That they sold Babe Ruth.

Glad Farrell stuck with Porcello, though I was calling for his removal after he lost his HP road map. Decision paid off, and boosted His confidence.

Don't you think under-performing talent or a lack thereof might have a little something to do with it?
Or maybe you just like taking another poke at Farrell.

You can't make this stuff up I'd love to get him back also, but I'm not sitting here complaining about it 5 years later. If you hold onto everything like that, you're always going to be angry. Life goes on.

Badly needed win tonight. Fortunately Archer has been struggling as well. They have a chance to rebound some as they got Price going tomorrow, Wright against the Angels at home and well even with Buchholz and Wilkerson against the Angels, the Sox might sweep them. I have a feeling Wilkerson, who doesn't have high expectations hanging over his head, might be a pretty decent game when he comes up. I certainly hope so. At some point, somebody not named Wright, Price, or Porcello has to pitch well? Right? Hopefully Wilkerson has the stones to succeed here. Coming from the indy league, succeeding @ every level, I can see him being "hungry" enough to do well. Not saying Elias, Owens, Kelly, ect weren't, just saying this guy has a shot to stick in the major leagues with ONE good start. It's not a spot start and being sent down. If he pitches well, he stays, period.

That was a terrible at bat by brentz. He wasnt even close chasing those first two balls. And then stares at a oitch right down the middle.

Price is just so unbelievably soft. That is so true. His pitches have no moment!

I don't think that Price is soft.
He's just mediocre.

Price has been unthinkably bad. A disaster from top to bottom. I would undo that contract 100/100 times. He hasn't had a single redeeming moment this year.

What's wrong with Price?
Watching the first 3 innings today this player looks nothing like the dominant ace everyone watched the last few years.
Damaged goods, dead arm ? Every pitch looks as if it's maximum effort.
Very much a cause for concern

We can only hope that if we get him out of the stretch we can do some damage.

Price stinks, and I continue to be baffled how many pitchers underachieve under Farrell.

I'm not going to pretend that Price needs to pitch like an ace every time out. But this is a game he 100% needs to pitch well in. Can he pretend like he's making one million per start at some point?
