Won the series and thats huge. Cant win them all and Tanaka has been strong lately. We needed early runs and we didn't get them. If we had there bullpen we would be 5 games up in first right now. #wishwegotchapman #shouldofneverletmillergo

“ evandrellich: Price said he needs to execute better, that he's tired of saying it as people are tired of hearing it.” “@brianmacp: Price: "You're tired of hearing it and I'm tired of saying it, but I'm not executing."” “@brianmacp: Price: "I didn't throw a good fastball in to a righty the entire game."”

The yankees have the grounds crew soak the dirt all around and in front of home plate to slow down ground balls. How is that ok? Its their fault that they have a slow infield why should other teams have to pay for it? I know its a mutual advantage or disadvantage but the red sox would be just fine on defense with the dry dirt.

On the bright side, if the Yankees win, then they may not only end up with a worse draft pick next year, but they may also be deluded into competing a little bit longer, and may be too late to sell off some of their pieces. On the bright side, maybe the Yanks will go on a little run now and then doom themselves to mediocrity by refusing to sell. It's not just the Yankees .. we don't want other contenders to get Chapman, Beltran, Gardner, and Miller. Rooting very hard for them to sweep the O's, obviously.

You can have him back. Just give them Benintendi and Kopech.

We're not getting him back now, but not signing him in the 2014-15 offseason was incredibly shortsighted. Miller is basically making over 4 years what Kimbrel is making in 3, and Margot, Guerra, Allen, and Asuaje would still be in the system.

Pretty sure I agreed with the decision at the time. Degraded performance by Red Sox+personal shame ... terrible.

May be a blessing that we didn't win last night. If we'd won, they would probably start the teardown. Meaning they possibly wouldn't have Chapman/Beltran, ect for the Baltimore series.

Bogaerts has been pretty pedestrian the last month. Hasn't seemed to barrel the ball up like he had been at the beginning of the year.
