Right knee soreness for Mookie. I didn't see him foul a ball off himself. This is curious.

He hurt himself sliding into 2nd on his double last night. I noticed it at the time and he was limping later in game.

Shaw making routine plays to his left and right is...an adventure.

Should we be concerned about Mookie? They said it was day to day, so hopefully not. Sounds like a bad bruise.

Rodriguez just toyed with Grossman. Good to see him have confidence in his non fastball pitches today, locating them well for the most part.

That was a extremely quick hook from Farrell. I would of left him in. I have no idea how Farrell thinks sometimes.

Hembree is absolutely going to give the Twins the lead.

Hembree has only shown he can only throw a fastball for a strike right now.....

Why didn't you just go to Robbie Ross in the first place?

Hembree has only shown he can only throw a fastball for a strike right now..... And when he goes to the fastball, the batter is sitting on it. Farrell with the quick hook to Eduardo. My god, the guy has no feel for the game of baseball.

Why didn't you just go to Robbie Ross in the first place? Why did he take Eduardo out in the first place? That's the real question.

Why didn't you just go to Robbie Ross in the first place? I think JF's logic is that Sano is a 153 wrc+ against lefties versus 126 vs righties and dozier is 133 vs 90 in their careers. Not saying I completely agree, but I can see where he was coming from.

ERod deserves better.
I always hate the quick hook: if he's on that short a leash, let a reliever start the inning. Pulling a guy with an out and a man on first is worst of all worlds. Starter has thrown more, gotten into the inning (so what have you spared him?) and new pitcher comes in with that runner.
Of course, you can't expect anything as bad as Hembree gave.
At least Eddie has looked good last two starts.

My god, the guy has no feel for the game of baseball. Now you know why the Giants dumped Hembree. No command. Another Reliever who has had several opportunities to better himself. Not. DD has to be looking for at least 2 relievers for the pen. A LH and another RHP

At least Eddie has looked good last two starts. It was his best overall game of the year so far and Farrell then decides to go to matchups. Especially when Hembree just came off a game where he completely fell apart. You don't take out a pitcher that's throwing the ball well to begin with. If Dozier burns you again, so be it. I hated the move from Farrell. When he should be proactive with his bullpen, he leaves Sean O'Sullivan in to finish a inning in the worst situation. When he should sit back and trust his starter off his best start and when he's throwing the ball well, he pulls him for matchups. God Farrell is the worst.

This is why I hate the pick off rule. He threw over twice before a pitch is thrown.

Runner on first, need to steal or hit and run with Pedroia up.
