(Knock on Wood), I'm thinking the worm has turned and Pomeranz will start getting some love.

Seriously dude? What do you think the MRI that were waiting on is going to be looking for? Guarantee you hat doctors have already seen that MRI. All the Sox said was that they want their guys in Boston to look at it afterward. It's not the ACL but still could be season ending. I'm sure the docs have read the MRI by now, but what I wonder is why you would think the Red Sox would come out and announce the results as soon as they get the first doctors diagnosis. I'm not saying that the ACL is torn, just saying that you can't assume it's not torn because the Sox haven't come out and said that it is, it's less than 24 hours since the injury, and the Sox have already put AB on the DL, a sprain was the original diahnosis and they will likely not change that until the team docs have examined AB and given their diagnosis. Hoping this is a sprain (mild ligament injury) but again the injury was the classic hyper extension so commonly seen with severe ligament injuries (tears).

Time should never EVER be granted once the pitcher goes into his motion. I don't care if the batter is attacked by bees, bears or dinosaurs. That's just complete BS and should be an automatic suspension of the umpire who allowed it.

That's just complete BS and should be an automatic suspension of the umpire who allowed it. Absolutely, it's the most annoying thing in baseball and completely throw the pitcher out of his rhythm. And yet the umps always get a pass for being awful at their jobs. Bryce Harper was right.

Frustrating game for the offense. O'Brien was talking about Odorizzi's low pitch count. It's low because he's throwing pieces of meat that the Sox are lining right at people.

One run may be enough for a win today.

Let's go offense.....2 or 3 should be enough to win today. Looking for Xander to something special this inning.

Odorizzi living at the top of the zone with the FB, a strategy I love as long as the pitcher changes the eye level during the at bat, unless it's a guy like Young who will just hack at RHP.

Got a break there. Could have easily been the end of the inning. Instead the bases are loaded again.
EDIT: ****.
