“@bradfo: FWIW, for those looking for Ziegler, he's been sick last couple of days” Stop trying to ruin the narrative.

“@bradfo: FWIW, for those looking for Ziegler, he's been sick last couple of days” Because there's ZERO chance something like that is happening in a roster while we sit here comfortably and second guess everything, right? None. Zilch. Nada.

Great. Now Kimbrel is going to throw 40 pitches and be unavailable tomorrow.

Only 10 home games after tomorrow I think? Really sucks to be squandering these games.

There's still a chance, it's a 1 run game and Mookie is leading off. Believe.

Wow...this team is just incapable of sustaining momentum. But plenty capable of sustaining frustration.

Is Shaw really hitting here? Not hitting - just standing with a bat in his hands and doing what he recently does best.

Why is Travis Shaw still playing at this point?
He's as bad as Sandoval was last year at this point.

They just lost the same game they've been losing all year.

Tough loss, the shortcomings of this team manifest themselves frustratingly over and over again.

When Leon is promised an off day - then dammit he gets one.

This team is demonstrating ground hog day brilliantly right now. We've seen this act before...over...and over...and over

That Leon AB has a very Stephen Drew feel to it.

I'll never understand why you can use Kimbrel in the 9th but not in the 8th. It's baseball insanity. It's a leverage index of 1.86 vs. 0.70.

This reminds is why Jonny Gomes was so awesome. Such a clutch hitter. Why is Buchholz still pitching in the pen? I currently don't have cable, but every time check the scores, when he pitches in relief, he gives up a run. Why is he being used? This team would be far in first place if Lovullo was managing. Farrell is simply a terrible manager who got lucky in 2013.

i admire everyone who was rooting for the comeback you gotta stay positive, but I don't think that is the team we have this year. With our record in 1 run games.....low scoring games......blown lead games....it is pretty apparent we have to blow teams out to win the game (for the most part). Maybe that will change, but we are at a point where some of this has enough data to point in that direction. I seem to remember us coming back early in the year, but it has been a while.
I wonder if we ran / can run Buchholz through the waiver wire. He just needs to go. Get a reliver and a free Happy Meal and let's call it a day. It's time to end the misery.
