Price ERA down to 3.87. Acing these starts, that's for sure.

Price looks great tonight. Against a weak lineup, I know, but he was supposed to dominate this game and he did.
If the Sox hold on, it could've about as close to a perfect night as you can get: Sox win, Jays, Orioles, Tigers, Astros, Royals (all chasing the Sox for playoff berth) all lose. Still not sure about winning this division, but the playoffs are starting to feel more and more likely.

What a awesome night if the score holds. The Sox would gain a game virtually against everyone that's close in the standings tonight.

Koji looks awesome.
What a great sign for this team. A healthy good Koji changes everything about this bullpen.
Is this Christmas? Everything is coming up aces tonight.

Well, that was efficient ... would rather see Koji at 87 than 85, but whatever, first game back, these Padres had no shot.

I love how Koji waltzes in after an extended DL stay, and punches a couple of guys out in a perfect inning so he can get his reps in. Throwing 87. Edit: or 85.

arguably the best Koji has looked all year Uehara is not what he used to be. It took him 13 pitches to get through that inning.

Koji and Kelly may very well be the keys to the Red Sox World Series hopes. This team has everything else (lineup, rotation, closer). Just need that bridge in 7th/8th innings to make this a complete team.

What a night! Now in sole possession of first place and we're playing Toronto at their lowest point. They are on their heels, I hope we take it to them early and set the tone in game 1 of the series. Could be our chance to really start to pull away.

Only one thing could make this night better: seeing Xander go deep here. Too much to ask?

Good Lord, Xander needs a day off in the worst way. Better make it two days off after seeing that at bat.
