I can't take off early, but at least I can work from home. Luckily for me I have the day off. Actually I'm retired so I ALWAYS HAVE THE DAY OFF!!! Eat your hearts out! :-) So you're truly the guy in your Avatar! I always wondered and now I have the answer

So Span was called out on a stolen base attempt, looked safe live, SF challenged, looked safe on replay, replay kept the call as out, call stood. Absurd
That was pretty terrible, and unless they had some angle that TV didn't have, appeared to be incorrect as the first foot clearly beat the tag, and ESPN's replay didn't show his left foot leave the bag until the right foot got there

Very wide strikezone also, so the stolen base isn't the only suspect call.

When I saw that failure to overturn for some reason I flashed back to the scene in Dr. Stangelove where Peter Sellers as the US president is talking to the Russian leader the Soviet doomsday machine has been triggered by Maj. "King" Kong riding the nuke down into oblivion. He says (more or less) "Nikolai, the point of having a doomsday machine is YOU HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT".
Well the point of instant replay is to GET THE CALL RIGHT.

Bumgarner is my favorite NL pitcher.

As impressive as Granderson's catch just was, being able to hold on to the ball while faceplanting the wall was far more impressive

So annoying how Madison Bum got such good results. He was getting alot of plate all game the Mets just made him look good. I think Noah pitched a hell of a game though.

The playoff legend that is Bumgarner only grows, even as the ERA shrinks to miniscule levels. The way he sets hitters up with his location is textbook, with the pinpoint control and pitch mix to make it all work. The delivery on all those pitches is identical, and he repeats it flawlessly. The reason he stayed in the game till the end is simple. He's efficient.

With that line-up, they have no business even to be in the playoff's. But, they have Bochy, Bum & Posey. It's also an even year.

Maybe this is his gift for winning the Central. What the hell does he get if he wins the World Series?

At the very least, I can buy it not being conclusive, but wouldn't be outraged if they said that the call was confirmed.
