If my calculations are correct, we have about $1.85 to go after Otani. I wonder which teams still have decent money left. How much which team(s) he wants to play for could maybe play into it also. According to the guy on CBS sports otani is mot coming this year. No enough money left to sign him.

Oh, you literally meant a dollar and 85 cents - thought that was a typo and you forgot the "M" or "million" or whatever. Gotcha.

If he is actually going to come over while still under under bonus pool restriction I think it's safe to assume a few million in bonus money will come in at around 0% of his decision making process.

With the hard cap on international signings, I think it is extremely unlikely that Otani will come to the MLB before he is 25. He would be costing himself hundreds of millions of dollars. Owners trying to keep down salary costs and established players looking out for themselves have created a system that is bad for fans of the game.

At this rate, our left side defense will be 3-4 players at SS in the I-formation.

The literal translation, at least, of his team's name is the Untouchables. Excellent.

The 2018 Projected Rosters has Flores, Diaz, and other-Flores on the GCL roster. Is that a projection of where it's thought they'll start, or where it's thought they'll finish?

The literal translation, at least, of his team's name is the Untouchables. Excellent. It's actually not a translation. Most of the German baseball teams have english nicknames such as athletics, Bears or Hornets. And Cardoso's team are the Paderborn Untouchables.

We're still working on getting everything up on the site, but the Sox have signed 43 IFAs, in case anyone still wondered if they were going to have a second DSL team again next year.

Really like this world wide approach. German player, Tibet, Chinese. Scouts everywhere the last 15 years.
