I don't think it's a health issue. It's a location problem. He's middle-middle with just about everything.
He's going to from being a 20 game winner to becoming a 20 game loser.
Last year when he took the mound, you knew the Red Sox were going to win. This year when he takes the mound you know they're going to lose. Most of the time the offense won't even score, not that that's his fault, but it's a strange feeling, and it's probably the difference between a comfortable 1st place lead and being in 2nd behind NY.
Alright, kids in bed, the 1.5 year old cried hysterically for two hours for mama who isn't here, and 3 y/o cried for 30 minutes because he broke a nerf arrow. Let's turn on the Red Sox game, watch them continue their nice run of late, I'm sure tuning in just after 9 should give me a couple hours of relaxing baseball.
There is nothing more frustrating that waiting a long while for the game to start only to have it ruining immediately by one player.
