I mean, how can these guys seemingly give up all these first inning runs. What's the deal?

This blows. The entire rotation is a problem right now. He's ok. Just one BB, one ground ball single, a flare single and a line drive double. He's fine. He was brilliant in his last start.

ERod only had one ball hit hard there. Unfortunately it drove in three runs. Does it matter? He sure isn't looking good with the lead off walk. It's a lineup with a bunch of dangerous hitters and Springer is one of the most dangerous. It was ok to be careful with him.

Happy Anniversary Ted! Today is the day he went 6 for 8 in the double header to finish the 1941 season at .406.

I don't know how you get the first 4 hitters of this lineup out. Eduardo Rodriguez doesn't know either.

What a horrible turn through our rotation this has been....ERod is toast tonight. Long night for the pen on tap.
All those extra inning games - essentially 6 extra games - showing the toll it took?

Nice 0-2 pitch, that suppose to be Porcello specialty.

so tough to accept. such an amazing road trip, you come home, where you have the 2nd best record in the AL, and you start shi**ing the bed. I am sorry, it can really get to you.

Blaine Boyer is on tap to play the Edward Mujica role. (we will see Abad as well, I suspect)

Well, maybe they are overmatched in these first two innings. Maybe they will get crushed tonight. The Astros are a really good team. They were a lock for best record in the AL all year until the Indians had a historic win streak.

ERod just lacks consistency to be a top shelf pitcher.

What is surprising it to see the pitching let them down - 4, 4 and 10 runs by a beat up offense should be good enough for this staff if they pitched to their capability.
