Beer would be an all-time selling shirt in Boston if he reached the Red Sox. No doubt. Maybe they take him just for the potential jersey sales?

How much more interesting would the trade deadline be if teams could trade draft picks? Seems like it would make deals easier to materialize. Just a random draft related thought

Beer would be an all-time selling shirt in Boston if he reached the Red Sox. Just hope he doesn't go into a prolonged slump which would preclude vendors from promoting "Ice cold breah, heah."

Odds on Harold Reynolds comparing every RHH with an open stance to Manny Machado and every short middle infielder to Dustin Pedroia?

Definitely worthy of a pre-draft listen, Brian Bannister goes pretty in depth on Bradford's podcast about the drafting of pitchers. Very interesting overall, especially about fastballs, and starting at 6:30 he talks all about the Tanner Houck experiment. I tried to ask Rikard about this sort of thing on the conference call last week and he basically said nothing of note, so I look forward to listening. By the way, Bannister is a great guy to talk with about this sort of thing. Loves chewing the fat. Learned some great stuff from him this year in camp.

Can I complain about the Cardinals getting a competitive balance pick for about the 12th year in a row?

Harold Reynolds just said he would take Kyler Murray 1-1.

I was reading Steele Walker has the most experienc with wooden bats. That kid Rocker sounds like a monster pitcher.
By the way they should get with the times and have trades. But with 40rds just limit it to top ten rounds. Maybe you limit teams from trading the first rounders back to back years. Like the nba.

FYI, the first Red Sox pick should be at ~9:40 based on last year.

I wonder what's up with Singer. It honestly could be high bonus demands OR him struggling to start the year. I think either scenario is equally plausible.

The uncomfortable Harold Reynolds moment of the top ten just happened:
Harold: Kelenic has a swing that reminds me of Logan Morrison, he’s going to hit for power.
Everyone else in New Jersey : that is a terrible comparison. He doesn’t have that power.
Callis: Mark Kotsay is a better comparison.
