Brewers going with Turang according to Kiley McDaniel. Yup. So much for him falling to Boston.

I'm a sucker for high school RHP's. Then again the value (and injury attrition) for position players is different than pitchers.

Brewers going with Turang according to Kiley McDaniel. Yup. So much for him falling to Boston. Eh, MLB had him at 25 so it wouldn't have been much of a fall to get him at 26.

So much for my Turang prediction. I guess if Rolison falls to them they draft him or Casas, who the Sox are also linked to. I still don't think the Sox get Beer. Can't wait to find out.

Just a reminder, Vasil pulled out of the draft. So that MLB list #25 spot is gonna hang around a while.

Harold Reynolds just said he would take Kyler Murray 1-1. You missed the best part, which is that he said he would take Kyler Murray 1-1 because of his intangibles. Also, I love that all of these teams sent players to represent them who they didn't draft.

Then Casas? Since Rolison will be off the board.

Thank god Belichick doesn't manage baseball.

If Casas is the pick, will be interesting to see if they introduce him as a 1B.

Casas seems like a 3 outcome type first baseman. Don't love the profile but he's a HS guy and can work to change that profile.

I'm guessing McClanahan has a deal with a team in the end of the first/ comp picks area.

Where does Casas slot in the SP rankings? When can we expect the rankings to be updated? How much will he sign for??

I got to say, the Sox are incredible at taking advantage when prospects slip because so many other teams go under slot. I mean, money is money, but you still have to be able to push the button.
