They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules ( link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

Bundy's stats are misleading, because he had a disastrous stretch during which he gave up 22 earned runs in nine innings, including a start with seven runs allowed without getting an out. Outside of those three starts, he has a 1.62 ERA. I'm always pretty critical of "he's awesome if you take out his bad games!" type of faux-analysis, but it's pretty striking here.

After that disappointing homestand, hoping for continued success on the road. All teams have to protect against playing down to the competition. The O's are terrible this year, yes,but they will still be looking to disrupt our squad.
I really want Mookie and Dusting to get back. This seem a little stale right now. We all dislike Buck, so let's do some damage here.

Betts back in the lineup. Sam Travis optioned. This better get close to the record number of likes. Now let's just cross our fingers that he's just like he was before he was hurt.

The way that Betts hits at Camden Yards, this is probably the equivalent of his rehab assignment.

Excited to see JDM in Camden. Jesus yes. Martinez at Camden against Cashner should probably not be available on basic cable.

What a win to see Mookie back. I hate watching baseball without him in it.

So the Orioles activated Zach Britton before tonight's game, so that stinks when you're tryinf to seek any advantage to win.

Mookie's first at bat, he ripped a 104 mph line drive out to left so he seems to be just fine.

Umpire calls a foul ball on a strikeout that was never was a foul ball. Then he calls strike 3 on a ball inside. Guy is on fire tonight.

Wright is pitching like the best pitcher on this pitching staff, on a staff that includes Sale.

I've heard Dave O'Brien talk about how amazed he is that Mookie still leads MLB in batting average even after all that time he has missed about a dozen times over the last two weeks.

This offense loves to waste Chris Sale's awesome starts, minus well waste Wright's awesome starts too.

So the Sox new weakness, apparently, is teams that will struggle to win 60 games this year.
