Already 3-0 and the MFY are losing...feeling good things tonight. You forgot one more positive note. Chris Sale is pitching.

off the top of my head, Sale has probably had say.......0....starts this year where he has this kind of early lead. Happy for him, but hope he doesn't change his approach.

Hammel threw 37 pitches. You gotta love it when the Red Sox get into an opponent’s bullpen early in the first game of a series.

Man that game got out of hand quickly. 1-0 when I started cooking. That went by the board on a rocket sled.

I just tuned in after falling asleep during the Nats/Marlins game and assumed it was a typo. Ummm, what?

Also how many times does JD homer after Betts homered earlier? It's as if he can't stand someone creeping up on him.

Yanks loaded the bases with 1 out and only got one run, nice.

Guys, this is 6 starts in a row that Chris Sale is coming right out the gate pumping 98-100 on 0-1, 2-0 counts.

I'd almost take Sale out early and preserve him given the All Star break coming up and this lead.

Maybe it's just me, and obviously I'm biased. But this version of Chris Sale seems like the best pitcher/starter in the game. Who is better than the version of him at 100 mph?

The version of him that doesn't give up runs. Oh, relax. It's the Royals, top 5 in every swing metric there is. They go up and down hacking. OK my bad. This version of him right now, but in the last 5 games where he didn't give up any runs after an error. Did I tiptoe around enough to avoid the sarcastic responses?

10 K's through 4 innings. Lopsided run totals. I guess this was a mismatch. i would like to see Cora take Sale out before long.

I would pull Sale at around 90-95 pitches max. No need for him to waste bullets in a blowout.
