Just had to wait til we got to the #8 and 9 hitters to start hitting. That is one impressive swing by Swihart on that double that would have been an inside the park homer if it didn't bounce into the stands. JBJ going to left center was also a thing of beauty.

I wonder if Swihart goes nuts for the next 6-8 weeks, that could spell the end of the CVaz experiment in Boston.
That was a nice rip and he is going to finally get a chance to play.

That part of the park is such a beast. That was torched by Benny.

First 12 Yankees retired. Still no score though.

He signed a three year deal this year didn’t he? But yes, it’d be great to see Swihart force his way into a permanent part of the lineup.

It will be interesting, if he really performs well.

How has this park held all of these hits? That's six rockets so far in this inning.

Beeks has a chance to get the W, if things don't get too crazy.

The adjustments this team makes when facing a pitcher the 2nd and 3rd time through the order is very impressive

The swing was nice but I also loved the speed of Swihart. Would have been an easy triple possibly in the park homer if it stays in play. Not many catchers run like that.

Swihart is 4-for his last-6 with a BB and a 2B. It's coming...

don't know that if I have ever seen a DP quite like that. Xander with the glove save, and a beauty.

Nice play by Beeks. A lot of pitchers don’t turn that.

If Swihart plays well, that'll be September 1st.
The way the season is going, Swihart will be no downgrade from CV, and the only result of the injury will be a huge resurrection of Swihart's trade value.
