I’d feel better with Swihart DHing than Travis based on how Swihart’s been hitting the ball lately but I understand saving the back-up and the DH. That said Travis is not, and likely won’t be and MLB plater in anything but a cup of coffee capacity.

JD is good at much of the base ball, but Left Field not among that goodness.

Porcello was walking people and then hanging sliders all over the place. No one to blame but him that inning.

Just don't pitch to Mookie anymore. Don't even look at him. Bad for your retinas.

Love punishing the other team's mistakes. Just good baseball.

I'd be mad that my team was abusing a prospect like this.

These guys make it really easy to be a Red Sox fan.
edit. I mean the players on the Red Sox roster, not the Jays.

Red Sox scoring 5 runs that inning despite Nunez grounding out twice is a pretty good synecdoche for the season.

I love watching pitcher's struggle with control and then Nunez walks to the plate

Porcello just doesn't have it tonight. I'd look for someone else to pitch sooner than later.

Wonder if this offense has a 15-run kind of game in them tonight. Might need it.

Boy that was about as total a collapse by a Red Sox starter as I can remember.

Porcello had nothing tonight. From the first pitch to his last, he had nothing. Can't let him give up 8 runs while only getting 6 outs. Should've had Velasquez warming up to start the inning.

8 stinking runs Porcello. What a disaster.
