I love that element of the game also. Baseball is special that way. As much as I enjoyed the gimmicks of minor league ball, especially for the kids, I never liked the distractions of piped in noise and lights that have gradually crept into major league games; even recently at Fenway, sadly.
The cowbells and very NON First Nation drumming are awful, beyond snnoying and distracting. I have no more problem with names like Braves or Seminoles than I do with Fighting Irish, Padres or Yankees or Warriors or Mariners. Chief Wahoo or Redskins, however, need to go, as they are inherently disrespectful in 2018.
Began this as Vasquez got the first hit of this amazing inning and have been afraid to stop typing with my heart in my mouth for fear of upsetting cosmic balance. Not good for the heart. Ahhhhhh. What an inning.

Great that they came back and tied it but that just goes to show you why they shouldn't have just left Pomeranz out there to get killed or punted this game. Now they're going to need to use the guys they planned to rest anyways.

Tough pitch there on the black that could've gone either way. Props to the pitcher for making it. Now lets win this thing next inning!

Those are some tough pitches. I don't like that the ump gave the Pitcher both of the borderline ones, but gotta give him credit for putting the ball where he did. Nothing Mookie cold have done with anything in that AB.

Why Phillips at 3rd and not Nunez?

Why Phillips at 3rd and not Nunez? Cora likes giving players rest. Nunez probably unavailable except for pinch hitting duties.

Looking through that comeback inning the most telling thing for me was that Devers got pinched hit for, even with the LHP.

That HR was on Vasquez. He gave away the location way before the pitch was delivered.

Great that they battled back but hard to like how this game was managed.

That HR was on Vasquez. He gave away the location way before the pitch was delivered. Any major league hitter can hit a 90 mph fastball down the middle, nevermind one of the best first baseman in the league in Freddie Freeman.

Yes, but when the catcher basically let's the hitter know they are trying to throw him a high fastball literally 2 seconds before the pitch is delivered, it doesn't help. Just an awful pitch in an 0-2 count, but I hold firm to my initial post.

Minter is nasty, probably the only good relief pitcher Atlanta has.
